rhythm on the board.
SOLFEGE RACE
Have one student from each team line up in front of the big staff on floor.
Teacher yells out a solfege syllable. The first student to stand on the right spot on the staff wins a point for their
team.
ROCK, PAPER, SOLFEGE
Teacher says “Rock, Paper, and then a solfege syllable—for example “Rock, Paper, Fa”
The first student of each pair to make the correct hand sign wins.
The losing student has to follow the winning student, becoming a part of his “team.”
