    ABSTRACT

    The aim of the project is to study the existing throughput time thoroughly and observe each and every
    process which is done by the operator. Throughput time is the tool and technique of the lean
    manufacturing which is adopted and applied at this area. This technique will help company to
    eliminate the time during transportation of material, waiting, operation which will help the company to
    improve the productivity. The objective of the project is to reduce the throughout time by waste
    identification. Our project focuses on creating current and future state value stream maps which, when
    implemented, will decrease the current lead time by 50%as well as provide recommendations to
    improve current operations within the company.
