The wide open view from behind the steering wheel of Freightliner’s Classic XL allows you to rule the road. With
a wraparound dash, highlighted by the optional Rosewood finish, and a full set of standard and optional gauges,
the driver has complete command of the incredible power of the Classic XL.
Different seating options, a powerful climate control system, lavish interiors, plus a far-ranging list of custom
options define the Classic XL as the standard against which all other cabs are measured.
Available with several interior upholstery choices, including the luxurious Chaparral™ interior, each Classic XL
provides the driver, or driving team an enhanced living and working environment that is not only highly functional

Truly a truck driver’s dream come true, the Classic XL is available in several different sleeper configurations
ranging from the 40" Sleeper Box to the impressive 84" Raised Roof SleeperCab. Featuring spacious cab interiors,
modular shelving, luxurious upholstery and seating options, the Freightliner Classic XL is designed to provide the
ultimate in over-the-road convenience and comfort.
Always a favorite of independent drivers, the Classic XL with its stunning exterior and chrome package;
powertrain and engine options up to 600 horsepower; bold and impressive 132" BBC, dual exhaust stacks and
outboard mounted air cleaners, is easily recognized as the true classic on the road today.
A CLASSIC COMFORT OF HOME
In Freightliner’s Classic XL, the long miles on the high-
way are made more comfortable with the popular
Driver’s Lounge option. Neatly folded under the lower
bunk, the Driver’s Lounge easily converts the sleeper cab
into an office or dining area that enhances the total
comfort and functionality of the cab. Available only in
the 84" Raised Roof SleeperCab, the Driver’s Lounge
provides an efficient working and dining space with
comfortable cafe style bench seating and a durable, fold
down table. Appointed with optional modular microwave
and cooler cabinets, there’s plenty of elbow room to
relax and enjoy all the comforts of home on the road.
STRETCH OUT AND RELAX

The added conveniences of Freightliner’s
impressive array of options available in
the Classic XL make life on the road more
enjoyable and productive. With several
cabinet module options, drivers have
ample room for clothes, gear, a television
and a refrigerator. One essential option,
available only in the 84" Raised Roof
SleeperCab, is the lower, liftable double
bed. Positioned underneath the optional
back of cab wardrobe closet, the double
bed offers plenty of room to stretch out
in comfort and relaxation.

Classic XL is as big and bold as the optional “Big Daddy”
driver and passenger seats. Available with Connelly®
Leather inserts with heat and massage functions, the
