This document outlines the standard operating procedure for a blowout preventer (BOP) accumulator. It lists 15 steps to ensure the accumulator is properly set up and tested, including checking oil levels, connections for air, power, and outlets; inspecting for leaks; verifying ram valve positions; checking fire equipment; starting and pressurizing the accumulator; operating outlet rams; bleeding pressure lines; and shutting down in case of issues.

SOP FOR BOP ACCUMULATOR
1. Ensure sufficient level of Servo System oil in the accumulator tank
provided. 2. Ensure both drive air source (8-10 KCM) and electric drive motor connections have been made. 3. Ensure Outlet connections have been made. 4. Ensure Proper earthing of the accumulator unit 5. Check if there is any leakage and if found should be arrested 6. Ensure that all the RAM valves are in fully open position. 7. Check whether there are sufficient firefighting equipment provided 8. Ensure Connections of derrick floor console panel and remote control panel of accumulator. 9. Start the BOP Accumulator. 10. Observe the Pressure. 11. Gradually operate Required Outlet Ram valve. 12. After Completion of operation, bleed the outlet pressure line till the pressure gauge get zero. 13. Stay away outlet pressurised lines 14. Do not open outlet pressure line till bleeding has been finished. 15. If any discrepancy then immediately turn off the Accumulator.
