where they put him

Peter: What? The tomb is empty? That’s impossible.

John: I can’t believed anything about the news until I see it myself.

Peter: If that’s the case then we should go to the tomb and check if the news is true.

John: The tomb is empty. He is not taken by someone els. He is alive. Jesus is alive!

when they saw the risen Jesus for the first time. Draw and label some of these emotions
in the faces (circles) below.

Frightened Shocked Confused

Directions: Imagine if you were one of the disciples that Jesus appeared to in
Jerusalem. How would you react? In the space below, write what you would say to Jesus
in response to each of his words.

JESUS: Peace be with you.

ME: Are you for real? *shocked*

JESUS: Why are you troubled?

ME: I can’t believe I’m looking at you right here, right now. Am I dreaming?

JESUS: Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself.

ME: You’re alive! You came back!

JESUS: Have you anything here to eat?

ME: Um here’s a bread and a cup of water. Have some my Lord!
