Buttonholes
First you will increase by yarning over, after which you will knit 2 stitches together.

Insert the left-hand needle from back to front, under the bar, now knit this bar through the
front loop

Insert the left-hand needle from front to back, under the bar between the stitches, now knit
this bar through the back loop.
RAGLAN
With circular needles 7 mm, 80 cm and one strand of Diablo and one strand of Panettone
held together, CO 64 (68) 72 (76) 80 sts. You will be working flat in stockinette stitch while
making raglan increases every right-side row. You will increase your stitch count by 8 for
every round of raglan increases.
Purl 1 row.

Continue working in stockinette stitch until work, measured from the neck, measures 36

Ribbing
Work flat in ribbing (k1, p1) using 4 mm circular needles, 80 cm and one strand of Panettone
Start by working 1 row with increases: *k2, M1L * repeat until 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 sts remain, knit.
SLEEVES
The sleeves are worked in the round with circular needles 7 mm, 40 cm using one strand of
Panettone and 1 strand of Diablo held together.
Move the resting stitches for one sleeve onto your needles. Start beneath the armhole and
pick up and knit 6 (6) 8 (8) 10 sts, one in each of the backwards loop CO sts.
Place a marker in the middle of the 6 (6) 8 (8) 10 sts you have just picked up. Your round
begins here.
Work stockinette stitch in the round until sleeve measures 33 (35) 37 (37) 37 cm/13 (13.8)
14.6 (14.6) 14.6 inches or desired length
Ribbing
Work ribbing in the round (k1, p1) using circular needles size 4 mm, 40 cm and 1 strand of
Panettone.
Button bands
Work flat in ribbing (k1, p1) using circular needles size 4 mm, 80 cm and 1 strand of
Panettone.
The buttonholes are worked on the right side and the buttons are attached on the left.
Pick up and knit one st in each stitch along the front edge.
Row 4: Work buttonholes evenly along this row. First and last buttonholes are placed
approx. 1 cm/ 0.4” from each edge. Measure and place stitch markers where you want your
buttonholes.
*Work in ribbing until first buttonhole, *yo, k2tog* repeat 5 (5) 6 (6) 6 times. Work in ribbing
until end of row.
Collar
Work flat in ribbing (k1, p1) using circular needles size 4 mm, 40 cm and 1 strand of
Panettone. Slip the first stitch of each row.
Pick up and knit 85 (90) 95 (100) 105 sts along the neck opening – in the stitches as well as
between the stitches. Work 10 (11) 12 (12) 12 cm/ 4 (4.4) 4.7 (4.7) 4.7 inches of ribbing.

Weave in all ends.
