ACTIVITY NO.2
Direction: Answer the following questions.
1.) What habitual activities do you do every day that promote the protection and preservation of the
atmosphere?
2.) How unique is Earth compared with other planets in the solar system? Explain how the subsystem
work in relation to how life was formed and how life continue to exist on Earth.
There are so many things about the Earth that make it not only unique in our
solar system, but also, so far, unique everywhere else as well. The Earth is the only
planet with a large amount of liquid water on its surface. It has huge liquid water
oceans. The Earth has the largest moon to planet ratio. The Earth is the only known
planet with life on it. And the planet is literally covered with life. Plus, life that exists in
very extreme environments. The Earth has a rich water cycle. The Earth has a high
concentration of oxygen. The Earth has intelligent life on it and also clear signs of
Technology. The Earth is so special, that this has convinced many that something
other than randomness put all these things together on purpose. Which will become
even further enhanced if no other planet similar to Earth is ever discovered.
These subsystems interact with each other and they work together to influence
the climate, trigger geological processes, and affect life all over the Earth. They make
up all of the components of our planet, both living and non-living. These all
components are very important and together support life. If one of the components will
be removed then life will not exist on earth and humans will not exist.
