The Impacts of the Computer Networking toward on case study.
A computer network is a system that connects two or more computing devices to transmit and
share data. Computing devices range from a mobile phone to a server. Physical wires, such as fibre
optics, are used to connect these devices, but they can also be wireless. Computer networking is the
branch of computer science concerned with the creation, maintenance, and security of computer
networks. It combines computer science, computer engineering, and telecommunications. Traffic
monitoring systems in cities are an example of a large computer network.
These systems provide information about traffic flow and incidents to officials and emergency
responders. A simpler example is sharing documents with colleagues who work remotely using
collaboration software such as Google Drive. A computer network is at work every time we connect
via video call, stream movies, share files, chat with instant messages, or simply access something on
the internet.
Impacts of Computer Networking toward Web-Based Network Monitoring System are
allowing network engineers and administrators to monitor the network statistics. The developed
system's web-based implementation also allows users to remotely monitor networks from any web-
enabled device. Furthermore, its help to create a system that could be accessed from anywhere in the
world. The system had keeps track of network devices, servers, nodes, connectivity, traffic,
applications, logs, and a variety of other events, as well as basic device configurations.
The Network Monitoring System is primarily concerned with monitoring the host server and
the host network. A host server is an IT service, typically provided by a cloud service provider, that
allows remote access to off-premises virtual or physical servers and associated resources in exchange
for a monthly subscription or usage-based fee. Meanwhile, a computer or other device connected to a
computer network is referred to as a host network. A host may act as a server, providing information
resources, services, and applications to network users or other hosts. At least one network address is
assigned to each host.
The Web-Based Network Monitoring System consists of two applications. It is a back-end
injector application that monitors network statistics and logs occurrences and a web interface that
displays monitoring output and allows users to login and configure themselves. This system provides
benefits and functionalities that current industry applications do not, such as remote basic configuration.
Besides, the system provides several services in a single package, whereas industry applications provide
them separately.
There are numerous open source and commercial products that provide network monitoring
capabilities. These applications offer network engineers and administrators several features and tools
for identifying and inspecting network infrastructure. Many monitoring tools on the market today
provide specific monitoring tasks that are limited to one feature. Most monitoring tools include
interfaces for displaying network or server status. If device configurations must be altered, a separate
tool or suit is required for configurations and device management. There are, however, several open-
source network monitoring tools available. They also have the same functionality and features as
commercial tools. The current monitoring systems completely monitor the entire data network.
Monitoring of physical server details and resources, on the other hand, is limited or non-existent.
The software enables network administrators to stay connected to their systems no matter where
they are in the world. Administrators can monitor their network via the internet. This benefit is useful
in a variety of situations. Most importantly, in addition to monitoring, administrators can configure
network-connected devices such as routers in an emergency. Computer Networking can help to reduce
errors and improve consistency by having all the staff work from a single source of information. The
monitoring allows for proactive response, data security and data gathering and overall good health of a
computer system. While monitoring does not fix problems, it does lead to more stable and reliable
3
computer systems. Network monitoring systems can generate reports on how network components
performed over time. Network administrators can predict when the organization may need to consider
upgrading or implementing new IT infrastructure by analyzing these reports by early detection of future
infrastructure requirements.
In Network Monitoring part was to check the availability of hosts/devices and gather
information about those hosts/devices. Checking the availability of hosts/devices was successfully
implemented using the ICMP ping method. Ping operates by sending an Internet Control Message
Protocol (ICMP) Echo Request to a specific network interface and waiting for a response. When a ping
command is issued, a ping signal is sent to the address specified. The target host responds to the echo
request by sending an echo reply packet. Finally, there are many impacts of Computer Networking to
help the Web-Based Network Monitoring System to fully utilized.

Analysis on the challenges faced by users with regards to network issue.
Network monitoring is the process of constantly monitoring a computer network for problems
such as slow traffic or component failure. In contrast to network security or intrusion detection systems,
network monitoring system focuses on internal network problems such overloaded routers, downed
servers, or network connection issues that may affect other devices. Network monitoring systems can
also start a failover to remove problematic circuits or devices from service until the problem can be
fixed. A proactive network monitoring solution should be able to spot anomalies that, if left unchecked,
could cause an outage and stop operations before they start.
Networks are essential to business operations. Consequently, network monitoring is essential
for any kind of business. Networks today span the globe, with numerous connections made between
data centres, public clouds, and private clouds that are separated by geography. This presents numerous
difficulties for network management. Network administrators must monitor network performance with
greater vigilance and agility. This is easier said than done, though.
Every business faces different difficulties with network monitoring. It is challenging to
measure, track, and improve network performance. For resolving your network performance challenges,
you require the appropriate approaches, technologies, and personnel. If you don't have access to these
resources, network monitoring will provide a number of difficulties for your company.
According to the research found, there are challenges that have been faced by users in relation
to network issues, there are so many challenges that will users need to face. Form example like
identification of erroneous devices, continuous alerts on slowed network, lack of network visibility,
monitoring over logs of interconnected and etc. Despite this, we are still working to find a solution so
that the difficulties encountered can be effectively resolved in order to improve the user experience and
make network monitoring easier for users.
To wrap things up, network monitoring system are important because its helps to ensure
visibility across entire network. Even though network monitoring system are goods, there’s still have
challenges that will affect users’ experience. In order to make sure that’s doesn’t happen, we have
discussed about solutions that at least can improve users’ experience.

The challenges faced by the users with regards to network technology based on network
monitoring system.
Today’s world is entirely dependent on information. For the ease of sharing and communication
of information, data networks play a vital role by providing many services. Therefore, the whole world
is connected and empowered using various kinds of networks based on different technologies and
scales. These networks handle day-to-day information, news, multimedia as well as sensitive data such
as banking details, financial and critical details to companies and firms of the government and private
sector. Therefore, data networks should be dependable for their users even at situations where there is
a heavy load on the network. The ideal data network should be available, reliable, maintainable and
durable consistently.
Among the difficulties faced by users is many of the monitoring tools available in the industry
provide specific monitoring tasks which are limited for one feature. Most monitoring tools provide
interfaces to display network status, or server status. If configurations of devices require alterations a
separate tool or suit is required for configurations and device management purposes. The network
monitoring tools are standalone system which does not enable network engineers and administrators to
remotely monitor or examine network events and statistics. Commercial monitoring tools are very
expensive and the cost adds up during the network designing and implementation. However, there is a
selection of open-source network monitoring tools. They also provide similar functionality and features
as the commercial tools. The current monitoring systems completely monitor the data network as a
whole. However, monitoring of physical server details and resources are limited or not provided.
Next, inevitably in a failure of network connectivity or a device the network engineers and
administrators can assist the situation while working offsite, while traveling, while at home or even
when they are abroad. In other hand, the limited visibility for users which is without an effective
network monitoring solution, users may not have full visibility into their network traffic and be unable
to identify any performance issues or security threats. Other than that, redundancy of data encountered
by users when accessing using network technology sometimes does not help and even makes it difficult
for users. Network monitoring solutions can generate a large amount of data, which can be difficult to
interpret and make sense of.
In addition, to use network monitoring technology effectively as well as gain competence when
handling network monitoring users need to have a good understanding of the technology and how it
works, which can require extensive training. Lack of Automation has also resulted in many network
monitoring solutions lacking the automation capabilities that make them more efficient and easier to
use. In conclusion, the challenges faced by users with regards to network technology based on network
monitoring technology are numerous. Cybersecurity threats, bandwidth limitations, poorly configured
systems, and lack of visibility into network performance are some of the most common challenges.
To mitigate these challenges, users need to have an understanding of the underlying
technologies, utilize tools to monitor and secure networks, and be aware of the latest developments in
the technology. By doing so, users can ensure that their networks are secure, efficient, and up-to-date.
In hope is that through the use of network monitoring technology, users will be able to better identify
and address the various challenges faced when using network technology. By being able to monitor the
performance of the network, users will be able to identify issues quicker and take the necessary steps to
address them. This will help them to improve the reliability and efficiency of their network, and
ultimately ensure that their users are able to receive the services they need.

Solution to the challenges faced by users with regards to issue highlighted.
Method for ensuring high-quality process communications across the network that shows the
performance and quality of all network connections between processes in our environment, including
processes spread across virtualized cloud environments datacentres. In addition, knowing which of your
services and processes have network connectivity issues will help you strengthen the links between key
infrastructure elements. Thereby, provide a detailed picture of all connections made between inbound
and outbound processes through network interfaces as a result (both physical and virtual).
You can't fully comprehend your network performance if you can't see a certain area of it or
track a certain performance statistic. The majority of network monitoring software add connected
devices automatically, ensuring that no part of your network is left in the dark. This makes it possible
for your business to learn about performance issues, wherever they may arise on your network.
Additionally, your company has to be able to inspect every network transaction because one flawed
data packet could cause major problems for your organisation.
You must be aware of how your network generally operates in order to put your current network
performance into context. Your company will have knowledge of what performance is like in the
absence of any significant concerns by setting network performance baselines. The main advantage of
this is being able to identify performance issues as soon as they fall below expected levels and become
taxing. It's also helpful to know when your network performance is better than usual because this
enables your business to confirm that any network adjustments or reconfigurations are actually making
the network better.
To monitor your corporate network effectively, you must be able to see every aspect of it,
including every component device and link. The majority of network monitoring systems come with
network mapping capabilities that create an image of the complete network. This enables your business
to view every component of your network in real time in one location, avoiding black regions or silos
from occurring. Your monitoring tool might also offer various visualisations based on performance
indicators depending on the solution; for instance, a healthy device might be shown in green, while a
malfunctioning device might be shown in red. These visualisations make it simple for your business to
quickly analyse network and device performance.
