2023/2024

Would you like to find out whether you might be eligible for admission to one of our bachelor’s
programmes based on your secondary school diploma? This document provides important admission
information regarding the 2023/2024 intake.

General admission requirements


• Be in possession of a secondary school leaving certificate a Dutch VWO diploma or an equivalent
to the Dutch pre-university diploma and;
• Have studied relevant subjects (at the required level) relevant to the programme you are
applying for, and;
• Meet the English language requirements
• For Dutch taught programmes you also have to meet the Dutch language requirements

All applications will be assessed individually. We can only start the evaluation of your credentials after
you have submitted at least a list of the marks already obtained via the Wageningen University
application portal. You will receive a link and personal login details for this portal after the initial
application in Studielink. Please note that you will be contacted in case additional information is required
for the evaluation.

Subject requirements

One of the requirements for admission is that you need to have studied specific subjects relevant to the
program you are applying for. Below is an overview of the subjects you should have studied to be
admitted to one of our bachelor’s programme. It differs per high school diploma whether the mandatory
subjects are required on a specific level or as an additional exam.

Some mentioned diplomas are affixed with subject requirements. It does not mean that there are no
subject requirements when these are not mentioned.

If your diploma is not listed in this document, it does not automatically mean that you cannot be
admitted. We will assess all applications individually.
