Data Analysis Individual Activity

The document discusses several statistical tests: the chi-square test is used to determine relationships between categorical variables; the one-sample t-test tests whether a sample mean differs from a hypothesized value; ex post facto measures causes from existing effects; weighted mean uses Likert scales and weights responses to determine an overall effect; and frequency, percent, and ranking are used to measure responses about gadget use by highlighting highest and lowest frequencies and most preferred type.

STEM - CHROMIUM

1. STATISTICAL TEST: CHI - SQUARE TEST

THE TEST IS UTILIZED AND USED WHEN YOU WANT TO SEE IF

THERE IS A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TWO CATEGORICAL
VARIABLES LIKE ACADEMIC STRESSORS AND LEARNING
PREFERENCES.

2. STATISTICAL TEST: ONE SAMPLE T-TEST

BASED ON THE STATEMENT, IT IS SUITABLE FOR THIS TEST

BECAUSE IT ALLOWS TO TEST WHETHER A SAMPLE MEAN
SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERS FROM A HYPOTHESIZED VALUE.

3. STATISTICAL TEST: EX POST FACTO

THIS STUDY MEASURES THE CAUSE FROM THE PRE EXISTING

EFFECTS TOWARDS THE BEHAVIORAL OF THE CONSUMERS

4. STATISTICAL TEST: WEIGHTED MEAN

DATA ON THE EFFECTS OF MORNING EXERCISES CAN BE

GENERATED USING AN INSTRUMENT THAT USES ITEMS WITH
LIKERT SCALE. FOR EACH IDENTIFIED EFFECT, ITEMS THAT
CAN BE MEASURED BY THE LEVEL ON THE SCALE (EXAMPLE:
NO EFFECT, LITTLE EFFECT, OR HIGH EFFECT) REPRESENTS
THE DATA POINTS THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE FINAL
MEAN. DEPENDING ON THE ANSWER, EVERY LEVEL WILL HAVE
VARYING WEIGHTS AND THE SCALE THAT REVEALS THE
HIGHEST WEIGHT IS THE ASSUMED "EFFECT".
5. STATISTICAL TEST: FREQUENCY AND PERCENT, RANKING

GADGET USE WHICH CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY DURATION OF USE,

FREQUENCY OF USE, AND PREFERRED TYPE OF GADGETS
COULD BE MEASURED BY FREQUENCY AND PERCENT TO
OBTAIN THE MOST RATED RESPONSE. RANKING IS THEN USED
TO HIGHLIGHT THE HIGHEST AND THE LOWEST IN TERMS OF
DURATION OF USE AND FREQUENCY OF USE, AND THE MOST
PREFERRED IN TERMS OF TYPE OF GADGET USED.
