1 Introduction

The purpose of this document is to list the agreed KPIs


formula/counters amendments applied to compute these KPIs

1.1 Huawei 4G RNA (RAN KPI)

Current Formula
4G RNA=(1-(([L.Cell.Unavail.Dur.Sys]+[L.Cell.Unavail.Dur.Manual])/({GP}*60)))*100

Proposed Formula
4G RNA = 100% x [(L.Cell.Avail.Dur + L.Cell.Unavail.Dur.EnergySaving)/ (60 x 60)]

Reason for change


Correction of formulae to include time when eNodeB system-module sleeps upon
prolonged power outage or shuts down due to a system critical interrupt.

1.2 ZTE 4G RNA (RAN KPI)

Current Formula
4G RNA = 100 * (C373230700+C373230706)/(Gr*NO)

Reason for change


Correction of formulae to include time when eNodeB system-module sleeps upon
prolonged power outage or shuts down due to a system critical interrupt.

The formulas presented in this document are as agreed in Airtel Africa and
prepared based on discussions with Nokia and Airtel Group. Should there be any
change required later the same would be mutually agreed and revised.
