Why introduce a V4 KX Driver?

Microsoft developed the V4 architecture as an update to the V3

architecture that has been around since Windows Server 2000. Microsoft
also developed and introduced “Windows Tile/App Printing”, which is based
on the V4 architecture from Windows 8. And, to print from Windows
Tile/App, the V4 driver is required. This is why Kyocera has developed the
V4 KX Driver.
