2. Define Operating System. Explain the functions of Operating System.
3. Define DBMS. Explain the different database models with their merits and demerits.
4. What are contemporary technologies? Explain any two contemporary technologies with
roles.
5. Write the Internal and External DOS commands to complete following tasks.
6. What kinds of program fall under the utility category? Describe a utility program you
have on your computer.
