Thank You for selecting ULTRAPURE’S the Most Advance In-duct Air Purification System.
The ULTRAPURE’S proprietary unit design utilizes Advanced Oxidation Plasma (AOP)
technology, proven to neutralize airborne micro-organisms such as viruses, including
SARS-CoV-2, Bacteria & Molds from your home as well as in an HVAC system. It partially
minimizes indoor Particulate Matter (PM2.5 & PM10), gases & bad odors.

The Ultrapure AOP Air Purification System is powered by nanoX™ and plasmOX®
technology that is continuously working to remove airborne contaminants in the living
space including microbes, particulates, pathogens, foul odors, and TVOCs. Ultraviolet
light, friendly oxidizers, and bipolar ions continuously oxidize indoor contaminants and
revert back to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation. The Ultrapure AOP Duct Air
Purification System easily mounts into the supply air plenum or duct after the air
handler of any centralized air conditioning system with design airflow range from 100
CFM to 28000 CFM single unit.

NOTE: Please read the installation manual carefully before using this product.

WARN IN G: Electric shock hazards!!

CAU TI O N : Protect eyes from UV light. Before installing or servicing this system, always
make sure that the main power of the system is turned off.

IM PORTAN T! Dispose of cut-out piece of material. Keep away from children.

 1. CHOOSING A MOUNTING POSITION AND CUT HOLE IN THE PLENUM/ DUCT:

It is recommended to install the Pentagon AOP cell in the plenum/supply air side just after the air
handling unit, refer to the image above for clarification.

Drill and cut the hole using the hole saw cutter into the plenum or duct. (Make sure that technician
is drilling into duct only without affecting mechanical area of HVAC system).

The AOP requires a hole of 7” (for old model) and 4" (for new model) to be made into the AHU at the
point of installation.

2. MOUNTING UNIT

• Insert the Pentagon AOP cell into the opening, mount the unit & fix all four screws with the
mounting holes given on the Pentagon AOP In-duct Air Purifier mounting plate over the plenum/
duct.

• The screws of the AOP have been placed 202 mm apart and all the screws have been given to hold
the AOP system in the duct of the AHU.

• There should be no gap between the AHU and AOP systems to avoid air and UV leakage from
the duct. W e provided a rubber gasket to place between the mounting plate of the AOP and AHU.
3. CONNECT TO POWER SUPPLY

IMPORTANT: Before connecting to the power confirm that AOP system is being installed correctly.

The mains supply of the AOP is connected from the separate plug point near to the AHU unit. The
power cable of the AOP is separately attached and do not require to make separate connections to
any other component.

Connect the unit with single phase non interrupted power supply with the provided wire and
the three-pin top. Now the machine is ready to use.

Turn on heating and cooling system and the Pentagon AOP in- duct Air Purifier.

BEFORE STARTING, MAKE SURE THAT:

• The system is installed and electrically connected in the correct way.
• The system should be suitable for operation on 220 volts, single phase, 50 Hz, A.C. supply with an
adaptor connection.

• The system should be completely covered and light rays should not leak to the outside of the
ductwork.
• Light indication on the mounting arrangement & on/off button for UV, Ionizer & Pest repellent.
• Person should not get direct exposure to the UV light when it is in ON state.

NOTE: Do not use unit if power cord is damaged. Plug must be accessible at all times.

LAMP REPLACEMENT & SAFETY

The Pentagon AOP In-duct Air Purification System includes high energy Ultraviolet light of specific
wavelength (UVC-254 nm), which is also called Ultraviolet Germicidal irradiation (UVGI). Germicidal UV
lamps need to be replaced periodically. When replacement of lamp is needed, order proper lamp assembly
from your dealer/ distributor.

NOTE: UV lamps will continue to emit visible light but they lose germicidal effectiveness over time.
The recommended life of the lamp assembly in this AOP Air Purifier is 2-years of constant
operation or a maximum of 16,000 - 18,000 hours of unit runtime.

WARNING: Never expose unprotected eyes or skin to UVC light.

CAUTION: UV lamps contain small amounts of mercury - dispose of lamps in accordance

with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. For more information visit

IMPORTANT: The users are not allowed to replace UV lamps on their own. For UV replacement need to
contact our company/distributor/dealer or the company can connect with a user through an annual
maintenance contract.
METHOD OF CLEANING UP BROKEN LAMP:
• If the lamp is broken, switch off the Pentagon AOP Purifier, and ventilate the area where the breakage occurred.
• Use personal protective clothing under adequate ventilation.
• Take the proper precaution for collecting broken glass.
• After handling broken lamps, remove protective clothing and thoroughly wash your hands.
• Dispose the lamp as per regulations.

HOW TO HANDLE?
The unit must be transported in its packing until installation. This prevents transport damage, scratches, and
the unit from getting dirty.

MAINTAINANCE
The unit is maintenance free.
Only maintenance person has to cross-check the indicators over the mounting arrangement.

FAULT DETECTION
• Make sure that the unit is electrically connected to the supply. Please check supply has no fluctuation and
correct current flow. Check all the indication lights are ON.
• If nothing of this works, contact our service technician.
• Further our technician from the service team will check and report accordingly.

WARRANTY

• The warranty will be void if any physical damage occurred to the product.
• You need to inform the manufacturer about any problem with the product immediately and you should
not get it checked with any local electronic/electrical shop.
• We shall not be held liable for any damage caused to the product due to electrical fluctuations.
• If you see any problem with the installed products immediately notify our company and the product
should not be removed from its original position.
