FINDINGS AND CONCLUSION

Findings

1. The existing Municipal Hall of Orion, Bataan is not suitable to occupy the growing
population of Orion who availing the service.

2. Facilities and amenities that are not present or not enough in the existing site of
Municipal Hall such as general parking spaces, open field for the simultaneous flag
ceremony and future events, parks or recreation area, public toilets, waiting area/Lobby

3. Legal parameters, laws, and policies must be considered to properly design the
proposed Municipal Hall of Orion. It must conform to the rules and standards of the
National Building Code of the Philippines, Fire Code of the Philippines, and Accessibility
Law.

4. The municipality of Orion, Bataan needs to have a one-stop-shop to provide easy


access to each agency and provide streamline services.

5. Orion Municipal Hall is in needs to Relocate to a bigger site and redevelop to provide
accessibility, workplace convenience, and a complex as a whole.

Conclusion

1. Needed to provide facilities and spaces that are not present in the existing site and a
bigger and safer place for the government site to become beneficial and convenient to
the users.

2. The proposed project will offer a one-stop-shop that will improve to meet the needs of
the users.

3. The proposed Orion Government Complex will follow the legal parameters, laws, and
policies that must be considered in the study.

Chapter X - Recommendations

Recommendations

The primary consideration should focus on the present status of the Municipal Hall of
Orion, relocating to a bigger site to give a comfortable and convenient space for the
users. Adding some facilities and amenities which is much more needed. Considering
the user needs based on the data and information that has been gathered.

Proposal:

1. A bigger site for the proposed Municipal Hall of Orion that occupies a greater
number of employees and people of the community who are availing of
government service.
2. The design of the proposed Municipal Hall should provide comfort and
convenience to the employees and the public.
3. The proposed Orion Government Complex should follow the legal parameters,
laws, and policies that must be considered in the study.
4. Integrating a one-stop-shop service to provide streamlined service.

7.1 Design Philosophy

7.2 Design Concept


Modern Architecture
Modern architecture makes use of environment-friendly building materials that
facilitate minimizing carbon footprint; conserving money on bills; and reducing energy
consumption. Advancements in engineering, building materials, social equality, health,
and industry converged. This created a perfect storm that allowed architecture to enter
a new era of design.
Modernism, has some of its elements like a connection to the outdoors, spacious
rooms, and lots of light and that are the elements that the proposed Municipal Hall
needs.
7.3 Design Sub-Concept

7.3.1 Form Concept


Clustered Form

The form concept of the Municipal Hall is Clustered form because it offers
multifarious advantages in the form of energy conservation, open space preservation,
environmental protection, design flexibility, lowered construction costs, recreational
opportunities, and neighborhood development.

7.3.2 Functional Concept

The proposed construction of a government building that will serve the public. a
public service facilities that requires to accommodate the projected needs of the
community.
7.3.3 Time Concept
This project may use modern way method of construction techniques to shorten
construction time and lower construction costs, such as the utilization of pre-fabricated
materials. To ensure that this structure can reach the maximum strength for a lifetime
use, this project may use of pre-fabricated and high-quality materials for the possible
level of everlasting use.
7.3.4 Economy Concept
The project will be using high quality materials in modern construction to maintain the
economic sustainability of the proposed project.
7.4 Style Guiding Principle
The project may incorporate the modern design of structure by using materials like
concrete, glass, and steel to be more sustainable and functional. the design
incorporates landscape architecture to add aesthetics to the proposed project
