One of the most asked questions I found is "My CDS slot shows system error", I successfully fixed this

on the 2- US-0320 machines I own (On the money and Heart Throb), Here is how I did it.....You start by
unplugging the slot machine form the 120v outlet. Next put in a fresh CR2354 battery on the logic board.
That is the board behind the locked panel under the slot reels. You will have to remove the board to
replace the battery, then reinstall the board. Once you have a new battery in....Then you MUST set the
date. You do this by opening the main door to the slot machine, after the door is open, turn the key on
the right side of the slot towards you or CCW. You should see “COIN IN” on the message center. Next hit
either Max bet or Spin one to go up and down the menu. Scroll to “CONFIGURE”, then press BET ONE,
now scroll the next menu using SPIN ONE until you see set “SET TIME.

Below is edited from the USER/Reference manual you can find and download from the groups FILE
section:

Select SET TIME to view and/or set the game internal clock/calendar.

To access the Set Time option from the Main menu, follow these steps:

1. Press SPIN REELS or MAX BET to display the CONFIGURE option

[Menu item 13].

2. Press BET ONE to select the CONFIGURE option.

3. Press SPIN REELS or MAX BET to get to SET TIME [Menu item 7].

4. Press BET ONE to select the SET TIME options. The HOUR is shown on the alphanumeric message
display and the current hour value is shown on the Winner Paid meter.

5. To change the hour value, press SPIN REELS or MAX BET to

Increment the value to the desired hour (Military time).

6. Press BET ONE to display the MINUTE parameter and corresponding

value.

7. To change the minute value, press SPIN REELS or MAX BET to

Increment the value to the desired minute.

8. Press BET ONE to display the MONTH parameter and corresponding

value.

9. To change the minute value, press SPIN REELS or MAX BET to

Increment the value to the desired month.

10. Press BET ONE to display the DAY parameter and corresponding

value.
11. To change the day value, press SPIN REELS or MAX BET to

Increment the value to the desired day.

12. Press BET ONE to display the YEAR parameter and corresponding

value.

13. To change the year value, press SPIN REELS or MAX BET to

increment the value to the desired year.

14. To save the changes, press COLLECT.

15. To return to the Main menu, press COLLECT again.

Once you set the time and clock, you MUST INITIALIZE the machine.... you do this by going to INITIALIZE
the same way you went to set time. To initialize the game, follow these steps:

I am skipping steps as they involve setting time/date and putting chips on the logic board. From my
limited experience, If your chips are already on the board from the factory and you are seeing the
"SYSTEM ERROR" on the message center. You may not need birthing chips if you do the rest of this....

Once you see INITIALIZE on the message center, press the CHANGE button, This will scroll a Error #90
and instructions......to start a sequence of lighting up each button individually and the message center
telling you which button to press, when you're done with pressing the 6 buttons in the proper sequence
as instructed, Press the COLLECT bottom to save to the eprom...you have now completed the
INTIALIZING...you can close the door, and turn the key to the center position and all 4 reels should reset.
Once the reels reset, you should be ready to put some money in, barring any other errors that will be
displayed in the message center.
