 Exponents and logarithms
 Expansion of the Binomial Theorem
 

Topic 2: Functions and Equations (24 Hours)


 Inverse and composite functions, graphing functions on a GDC
 Transformations and their graphs
 Reciprocal function
 Quadratic function and formula, domain, range, the axis of symmetry
 Exponential function
 

Topic 3: Circular Functions and Trigonometry (16 Hours)


 The circle and applications of cos, sin, and tan in terms of circles
 Trigonometric equations infinite intervals
 Application of trigonometry in triangles

Topic 4: Statistics and Probability (30 Hours)


 Concepts of discrete and continuous data
 Presentation of data   
 Cumulative frequency and standard deviation
 Outcomes of complementary, combined, independent, and mutually
exclusive events
 Venn diagrams and tree diagrams
 Binomial and normal distributions
 

Topic 5: Calculus (36 Hours)


 Limits, derivatives, and convergence
 Chain rule, product and quotient rules
 Anti-differentiation with indefinite integration and boundary conditions
 Indefinite and definite integrals
 Kinematic problems
 Graphical behavior of functions
