DIROOTS?

 Single Application bundle that includes free add-ins to boost productivity


ONE FILTER-

A free Revit Add-in to:

• Find Revit Families by Categories.


• Find Revit Families by Parameter Name.
• Find Revit Families by Parameter Value.
• Find Revit elements inside Rooms, Spaces, Areas, etc.
• Colorize Revit elements by parameter value.
REORDERING-
Add-in to:
• quickly filter elements by category, family type, and instance parameters
• renumber instance parameters by using a prefix, a suffix, and a multiplier
• renumber randomly all elements at once or pick one by one
• path numbering (using a detail line)
• vertex numbering (using a detail line)
• temporarily highlight selected elements in Order Manually mode
• alternatively, export the data to Excel and import it back
SHEET GEN-

Add-in to:

• create multiple drawing sheets

• place views based on predefined templates

• easily manage sheet revisions

1. Create one or several templates that will be used to generate new drawing sheets.

VIEW MANAGER-
 View Manager can be accessed in two ways:
1. Using View manager option from the view and sheets tab

2. Clicking on the “View Manager” button in the “View List” Tab of Sheet Gen.
USE?
 The View Manager can be used to duplicate or remove Views and to modify their parameters
1. Duplicating or Removing Views
2. Click on the ‘Parameters’ button to add/remove parameters
3. Use the table to modify the parameters Click on the ‘Execute’ button to apply the changes
SHEET LINK-
Add-in to:

• Easily export your BIM data (Model and Annotation Categories, Elements, and Schedules) from Revit to Excel
Spreadsheets and import it back to update the model.

• Export and import your BIM data to/from Google Drive/Google Sheets.

• Use embedded Excel-like Editor to make quick changes to your data without opening Excel or simply to preview
the data before exporting/importing to/from Excel.

• Create new Rooms and Spaces from a template Excel file


EXPORTABLE DATA

 All Revit Model Categories, Annotation Categories, and Elements (individually or by Type ID)

 Revit Schedules (Quantities, Material Take-off, Sheet List, View List, etc.).

 Linked Models data (for visualization purposes only).

 Project Standards (e.g., Project Information, Object Styles) and List of Families in the model.
FAMILY REVISER-

 Import/export Revit families from/to local repositories (e.g., folders and subfolders)

 No more Revit families backup files in your system/project library.

 Add prefix and/or suffix to a family name or type name.

 Find and replace family name or type name.

 Workset Management. Modify worksets by category and by rules.


TABLEGEN-

Revit add-in that allows you to


 Import spreadsheets to Revit. The spreadsheet can be imported as ‘Legend View’, ‘Schedule
View’ or ‘Drafting View’ that you can then drag to your drawing sheets in Revit.

• Import Excel tables to Revit as Drafting, Legend, and Schedule Views.

• Import Excel charts to Revit.

• Bring the images in your Excel tables to Revit.

• Keep your Views automatically syncrozined with your Excel file


HOW TO USE?

 Prepare Excel spreadsheet to be imported

 Importing tables as ‘Legend View’, ‘Schedule View’ or ‘Drafting View’

 Updating, deleting and duplicating Views

 Using the Context Menu

 Absolute and Relative Paths

 Using the “Auto Sync” feature.


POINTKIT
• Add-in to:

• Region selection that allows user to isolate in multiple views.


• Selection by levels.
• Custom Undo/Redo system that will record up to 30 selection actions and enable the user to walk through
select actions.
• Export visible set of points from point cloud to XYZ, PTS, or DXF files and open it in a Revit family
environment (RFA).
• Define point cloud density while exporting.
• Re-mesh exported points and save to DXF file.
