3. Analysis of health and physical factors that may influence the current Performance (Ai).

From the client’s initial health assessment, submit a detailed account that justifies (explain) the
determination of:
• current well-being
• strengths and weaknesses
• relationship to physical performance. (Delete this part when finished)

Health SWOT analysis

Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Opportunities: Due to my client has an above average result in the press up test (35), it could be a good
opportunity to try to get this into a good result, which means doing more press ups before the clients
gets tired/developing the strength in the upper body.
Threats:
Summary: My client has a lot of opportunities to improve but they have to be careful about the risk of
over exercising and the injuries that can occur. My client’s strengths are very good as they can make him
persevere and not stop from completing the plan that I am going to design for him. The weaknesses can
be easily cut down.

From the client’s initial physical performance, the student submits a detailed account that justifies

• strengths and weaknesses

4. Designing solutions to support the areas of development that have been identified (Aii, task 1):

The student uses knowledge from strand A(i) to investigate in depth the issues highlighted by the
client and develop relevant solutions:
-Research how these specific weaknesses are affecting the athlete. For example, if the client hasn’t got a
healthy BMI, how does this affect the health and performance of the athlete? If the client doesn’t have
good strength, how does this affect the health and performance of the athlete? If in the technique
there is a part badly executed, how is that affecting the athlete's performance?
- In general, what are the possible solutions to solve the current health/performance issues of your
athlete? Think about in general what you are going to implement to improve these areas. For example,
if your client doesn’t have strength, how much time in your sessions are you going to spend training
strength with your client? How are you going to train this? With what method/kind of exercises?
