Wizard appears.
Importing Legacy Databank Files
This option in the Database Manager lets you register a database using the
following types of files.
• DFMS input files used to create the traditional DFMS-based databanks and
customize the simulation engine
• TBS input files used to customize the GUI
• Optional DIPPR access database which contains the literature citation,
notes and uncertainties information
• Optional molecular structure information (compressed mole files) that
have been stored in an access database
Create the DFMS and/or TBS files according to the procedures under
Customizing Traditional Properties Databanks, below. Then follow these steps
to create the database.
1 On the first screen of the wizard select Import legacy data files and
click Next.
2 When prompted, enter the Login Name and Password (this is normally
apeduser and Aprop100) and the name of the new database. Keep the
name short, using a maximum of 8 characters. Click Next.
3 To import the legacy data files, click the browse button and locate the
folder(s) where the files are kept.
4 Use the up and down buttons to order the selected files.
