Eternal Life
Eternal Life
Eternal Life
In a world fixated on a living a long life, living the good life, and obtaining a better quality of life-it is easy
to overlook the importance of the life to come. Look beyond the things of this world and to consider your
eternity.
Jesus is the only way to the father, Jesus is God, Jesus is my savior.
HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN!
1 John 5, Faith Conquers the World
1
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the parent
loves the child.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.
3 For the love of God is this, that we obey his commandments. And his commandments are not
burdensome,
4 for whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our
faith.
5 Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Testimony concerning the Son of God
This is the one who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only but with the water
6
and the blood. And the Spirit is the one that testifies, for the Spirit is the truth.
7 There are three that testify:
8 the Spirit and the water and the blood, and these three agree.
9 If we receive human testimony, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he
has testified to his Son.
10 Those who believe in the Son of God have the testimony in their hearts. Those who do not believe in
God have made him a liar by not believing in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
11 And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Epilogue
13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you
have eternal life.
Romans 6,
23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Revelation 20,
4
Then I saw thrones, and those seated on them were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those
who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God. They had not worshiped
the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life
and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first
resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no
power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him a thousand years.
Revelation 21,
1
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and
the sea was no more.
2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
he will wipe every tear from their eyes.

I must be willing to accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Eternal life is linked to the God the
son. Believing is a confidence conviction that Jesus is who He says He is, and the ipon placing my trust
in Him as my savior I enter into a personal, an eternal relationship with Him. I believe what He did in
Calvary.
John 1, The Word Became Flesh
1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come
into being
4 in him was life, and the life was the light of all people.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
6
7 He came as a witness to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him.
8 He himself was not the light, but he came to testify to the light.
9 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.
10
He was in the world, and the world came into being through him; yet the world did not know him.
11 He came to what was his own, and his own people did not accept him.
12 But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God,
13 who were born, not of blood or of the will of the flesh or of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s
14
and the blood.
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal with our Lord.
It is irreversibly link to my relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ.
Does God want me to be sure of eternal life?
Yes, He does. Because it is gift from Him, nothing I can do to get it.
I am sealed, whether I feel or not.
Why people doubt?
They are not saved yet. They are unsure about life. They never trusted the Lord Jesus Christ withpout
any condition.
Sin in their life. The result of sin shortcircuits the relationship between them and God, feeling unsafe,
unsecured, doubtful.
Hebrews 12, The Example of Jesus
1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight
and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us,
2 looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before
him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of
God.
Consider him who endured such hostility against himself from sinners, [c] so that you may not grow

ineffectual
19 (for the law made nothing perfect); there is, on the other hand, the introduction of a better hope,
through which we approach God.
20
This was confirmed with an oath; for others who became priests took their office without an oath,
21 but this one became a priest with an oath, because of the one who said to him,
“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
‘You are a priest forever’”—
accordingly Jesus has also become the guarantee of a better covenant.
22
Furthermore, the former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from
23
continuing in office;
24 but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever.
25 Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives
to make intercession for them.
For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separated from
