FOREIGN LITERATURE

The foreign literature is developmental in nature and is arranged by

subtopics. Sources can be any printed materials authored by foreign specialist.

This can be from books, encyclopaedias, magazines and the like. There is no limit

to the number of cited references but all should be relevant to the objectives of the

research study. Just make sure that sources of your supporting data must properly

cited using the APA format and as much as possible your sources should not be

older than 5 years ago. Synthesis of different literature must be evident.

State here the particular type of qualitative research design (case study,

ethnography, content analysis, phenomenological, grounded theory or descriptive)

of your proposed study. (in paragraph form)

Give a detailed description of the place where the study will be conducted.

Explicitly describe also the sampling sites. This portion may only be required if

the area is important or is a main factor in your results.

Population and Sampling

In this section you will define your population and the appropriate

sampling method. (in paragraph form)

Instrumentation

State here the kind of tool that you are going to use in the study. You will

also present here the sample tool signed and validated by designated expert or

faculty in your field.

Procedure and Time Frame

Explain here how you will be doing this particular step in a way that your

reader can replicate your work by just following this particular part. Therefore,

each step should be written in detail. It is also important to acknowledge your

source or basis using the APA style format.

Validity and Reliability

If the survey you’re using was designed by someone else, then describe

the previous validity and reliability assessments. When using an existing

instrument, you’ll want to perform the same reliability measurement as the author

of the instrument. If you developed your own survey, then you must describe the

steps you took to assess its validity and a description of how you will measure the

reliability.
