1. Downloading Firmware File
NOTE: if already you have the latest firmware version file of ARCUBE go to Step 2 directly.
To download the latest firmware version of ARCUBE, go to ARKEL official website www.arkel.com.tr
Note: you need to have Username and Password, to be able to download any document from ARKEL website. If you don’t have
an account, go to http://schema.arkel.com.tr/en/Account/Login then click "New User Registration" after submitting registration
information you will get user account password.
Click “TECHNICAL SUPPORT” from Menu bar and follow below steps.
After logging In, click on "Software " (Box 2) and enter the ARCUBE software menu (Box 3);
“ARCUBE Monoblock Control Unit" →"System Firmware" →”Arcube Systems Firmwares (as separate downloads)” (as
below picture)
Scroll down until you find the latest firmware version on the bottom of list. Click on the desired version and the file will be
downloaded directly on the computer.

Note: The language packs to be created according to the last digit of the version file name are:
1: Turkish, English, Italian, Spanish
2: Turkish, English, German, French
3: Turkish, English, Russian, Polish
Example 1: 20012221 -> Language pack 1 (TR, EN, IT, ES)
Example 2: 20012222 -> Language pack 2 (TR, EN, DE, FR)
Example 3: 20012223 -> Language pack 3 (TR, EN, RU, PL)
Note: if there is no micro-SD card on LCB board, you can use 16GB SD card industrial type.
Then should download Micro SD card content from http://schema.arkel.com.tr/en link. Then select “software”
→“Arcube Monoblock Control Unit”→”System Firmware”→”ARCUBE and FXCUBE SD Card Contents”
After downloading is done, copy the entire file to SD card.
Note: This process can be also made on ARM SD card.

2. Copying Firmware File to Micro SD card
Plug Micro SD card to your computer. On micro-SD card directory, you should see “arcube” folder.
At first click on “system” folder. At "firmware " directory paste firmware version file (with “.acs” extinction ) that you
downloaded at step 1.

under “system” folder click on “firmware”.
Note: You can see all version of ARCUBE Firmware versions on “firmware” directory.
In this folder paste the new Firmware version.
After copying process unplug the Micro SD card from PC, so plug it on Arcube. After this process is completed, go to step 3.

3. Firmware Update Process
After plugging Micro SD card into LCB board, press right button from “Main screen” to go to “Firmware Update” screen.
After you go to “Firmware Update” screen press up and down button at the same time to enter the menu.

The latest version showed as first. Press ENT to start the update process. The firmware versions are listed in order at date.
Warning 1: Don't remove Micro SD Card from socket during update process on Arcube (Step 3).
Warning 2: Before starting update process (step 3), don't forget to connect all peripherals which are communicating with
ARCUBE through Can Bus. Otherwise ARCUBE won't be able to identify them later.
Note: In case of power shutdown during update process. you should repeat Step 3 again after powering the system.
