DETAILS OF COMPETITION: MUSIC MOTION COMPOSITION COMPETITION

Flow: Participant will be divided into 4 to 5 group they will need to create new music
arrangement and composition using the theme given as an example Traditional Folk
Music. They will need to present their arrangement and composition at U-Plaza and in front
of honorable judges and their subject lecturer.
THINGS NEEDED:
 PA system
 Mic
 Chairs
 Long table
RULES AND REGULATION:
 Music composition must be according to the given theme.
 No Plagiarism Under Any Circumstances.
 Creativity is encouraged.
 Each team must be comprise of 2 to 3 people.
 Contestant are not allowed to refer to any notes or texts during presentation.
 Copy of the music composition must be submitted to the organizers one weeks prior
to the competition.
 Lyrics should not touch on sensitive issues such as race, religion, politics, etc.
 Props should be minimal
 Participants should wear appropriate costumes. Unappropriated costumes will be
denied their entry.
 Presentation is 5 to 10 minutes. Marks will be deducted thereafter.
 2 minutes is allocated for stage presentation before and another 2 minutes after the
presentation.
 The composition may be written for any combination of instruments, voices or
electronics. The composition should be a minimum 3 minutes in length and 5
minutes maximum
 Phones must be in silent mode throughout the event.

Flow: participant holding a tray with two glasses of the goblet full of water. After Tan Sri flagged off,
the participant have to walk from The Hub foyer until the last checkpoint at the MSU car pickup
point. The participant needs to make sure they did not spill the water and complete the round and
the top 5 will be the winner of this competition.

RULES FOR WAITER RACE

1)  All Participants must be punctual at the checkpoint before the event starts. 

2)  All participants must wear a complete restaurant operation outfit with an apron.

3)  All participants held a 1 tray with two glasses of the goblet full of water.

4) Amount of water left will need to be weight for marks.

5) Marks will be counted according to time accomplished.

6) Top 3 winner will be chosen according to the total overall marks.
