Removal of Falsework and
Formwork
The formwork removing time is based on the actual concrete
strength developed strong enough for supporting the dead load of
the structure itself and the reasonable operating load added on it.

◼ (1) Particulars and samples of the proposed materials and methods of


construction for Class F4, F5, U5 and T finishes shall be submitted to the
Engineer as marked 'x' in Table 14.5. The same particulars shall be
submitted for other Classes of finish if required by the Engineer. Where
the sheathing is timber plywood, details of the method of identifying and
recording the number of uses to which the sheathing will be subjected to,
including the labour and equipment that are provided for carrying out
marking and recording, shall be submitted to the Engineer for approval.
◼ (2) The particulars and samples for formed finishes shall be submitted at
least 14 days before the relevant formwork, including formwork for trial
panels, is fabricated. The particulars and samples for unformed and
treated finishes shall be submitted at least 14 days before the relevant
element, including trial panels, is concreted.
