Adjectives describe nouns and pronouns.


They can go after the verb be or before a noun.

Examples.

Ricardo Arjona is terrific. He's a terrific singer from Guatemala.


Ronaldo is famous. He's a famous soccer player from Portugal.
Gabriel García Marquez is excellent. He's an excellent writer from Colombia.

Use an article before an adjective that modifies a singular noun.

Examples. Positive adjectives
