“DIGITAL BOOKLET STANDARD” MASTER
“Digital Booklet Standard” (formerly known as “Oversized
Booklet”) is a PDF that includes multiple single pages with a large
horizontal full screen page size, optimal for various digital devices
and screens viewing.
Originating from the iTunes specifications, this PDF booklet may
also be supported by other digital partners, please check with your
digital account manager.
PDF BOOKLET ARTWORK & CONTENT GUIDELINES
InDesign template available
Page size: 11” x 8.26” or (28 cm x 21cm)
Four-page minimum
Horizontal presentation
All FONTS are embedded
RGB color
All images are full-bleed
Final PDF must be no more than 100mb
EXAMPLE PDF BOOKLET
*Cannot be reproductions of the liner notes with borders to
increase their size.
*When saving as PDF, make sure the document opens full
screen with no negative space surrounding the document.
*Consider using fewer images or optimizing images to
achieve lower overall file size.
*NO Printer’s marks, bar codes, registration marks are not
allowed unless it’s a creative choice.
*NO physical references such as CD 1, CD 2..Disc 1, Disc
2..Boxset. etc.
*Cannot sell or advertise other products or services. No
other promotional sites are allowed.
*No links to anything outside of the booklet, except to the
artist and/or label website(s).
*No time-sensitive information (for example, a promotion or
dates for an upcoming tour or concert).

SUBMISSION TO MEDIA PRODUCTION - FOR AOMA REGISTRATION
Note: These instructions are to be followed in Adobe InDesign using the template.
1. Design a standard digital booklet using the InDesign template provided.
2. Apply bleed to the pages using the high quality page images. Double-check your booklet doesn’t include any restrictions.

3. Once the booklet design has been finalized, Package a Collect For Output (CFO) the files to gather the fonts and images
linked to the digital booklet design document.
4. Export\Create a low resolution digital proof (PDF) of the booklet for reference.
5. Submit both the CFO files and the digital proof in a .zip file to Media Production Operations for AOMA registration
* All files should be provided as a .zip to ensure that no files/fonts become corrupted during the submission process
* Files should be submitted using the following naming convention: Artist_Title_ProductNumber.zip

SUBMISSION FOR AOMA REGISTRATION - DIRECT UPLOAD
1. Export the booklet to PDF using the High Quality Print
settings
* Export in single page format, NOT spreads
* DO NOT include bleed
* May need to reduce the image resolution settings to result in
a PDF file size below 100 mb
2. The resulting dimensions of the booklet pages MUST
be 11 x 8.26 inches or 28 cm x 21 cm (width x height)
with a Horizontal presentation -
* Please check that the sizing is correct in Adobe Acro-
bat using “Document Properties” before submitting
3. Upload the PDF via Direct Upload in AOMA
