RESOLUTION NO. 03-S-2021
“A RESOLUTION ENDORSING FOR APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED FINANCIAL

PLAN/BUDGET OF THE 2022 10% SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN FUND IN AMOUNT
OF ₱ 593,958.00
WHEREAS, Section 2 of Republic Act No. 9163 states that, “recognizing the youth’s vital role
in nation building, the state shall promote civic consciousness among the youth and shall develop
their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth
patriotism, nationalism, and advance their involvement on public and civic affairs.”
WHEREAS, implementing rules and regulations of Republic Act 10742 also known as
Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 provides chapter II section 8 paragraph (a)
states, “In consultation and with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, and within three
(3) months from assumption to office, formulate a three (3)-year rolling plan, which shall be
known as the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan, which shall serve as basis in
the preparation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program. This plan shall be aligned
with the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) and other Local Youth Development Plans
(LYDP) in every level, municipal, city and provincial as is relevant.”
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay

San Nicolas 2nd Betis drafted a Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan for 2022-
2024, last August 2021.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council agreed and proposed that 2022 10% financial
and utilization of SK Funds should be as follows, to wit, for the 10% SK Funds it is programmed
as follows:

 Purchase of Computer & Printer Set
 Giving of School Supplies
 Seminar on Metal Health Awareness
 Distribution of Vitamins
 COVID-19 Assistance
 Feeding Program
 Seminar on Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign

GUAGUA A RESOLUTION ENDORSING FOR APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED
