Activity 4 – (Process) Performance Task and Rubric. Develop a performance task and
scoring rubric, containing appropriate weighted criteria (indicators), descriptors for
interpretation and aligned standards using GRASPS model.
Task Design:
Task: Let students find a partner to dance the basic step/style of the rumba dance.
Objectives: To enable the students dance the basic dance steps/style of a rumba in
excellent performance level.
Specifically:
Goal – Your goal is to dance the basic dance steps/style of the Rumba Performance
Level.
Audience – Your target audience is your teachers, as well as other students and the
parents who attend in the culmination day.
Situation – You need to dance the basic dance steps/style of the rumba performance.
Product/Performance and Purpose – Dance the basic dance steps/styles of the rumba
performance in order to entertain the viewers.
Standards & Criteria for Success – Your performance level should correct understanding
with the basic dance steps/style that is easy for the teachers to identify what steps/styles
it is and you will be assessed by the given rubrics or criteria.
