ELEVATOR DOOR DESCRIPTION:


 Broadly speaking, there are two categories of elevator
doors – manual and automatic. You can still find manual
elevator doors in old buildings, but the newest
construction now opts for automatic doors. They come
with the added benefits of speed controls, motion sensors,
obstacle detection, and more. We focusing on this project
used on automatic elevator door it is a best option for this
project
Note:
 Automatic doors are the standard type of doors found in
modern days elevators which was introduced in 1887 (US
Patent no. 371207). Almost all the automatic doors are
usually powered by a door operator installed on the
elevator car
UAE STANDARD REGULATION:
 Clear door-opening width must be not be less than
1200mm and 2200mm high. Lift car Internal height should
not be less than 2500 mm

AUTOMATIC DOOR’S :
 Automatic doors are becoming increasingly popular in
modern buildings as they offer greater convenience and
accessibility for passengers. There are several types of
automatic doors, including.
 Automatic doors works in a way that requires an
activation signal using a sensor for the activation of the
motor gear. When no one is in the elevator, then the
elevator waits for a second and closes the door
automatically. Safety is the main aspect manual elevator
doors manufacturers must know.
 The doors also help to maintain the air pressure within
the elevator car, preventing drafts and keeping the
temperature consistent.

1. Side-opening doors – these doors slide open


horizontally from the center of the elevator cab and are
commonly used in low-rise elevators.

2. Center-opening doors – these doors also slide open
horizontally, but from opposite sides of the elevator
cab. They are commonly used in high-rise elevators.

3. Folding doors – these doors fold open like an accordion


and are often used in small elevators, such as those
found in residential buildings.

4. Telescopic doors – these doors consist of multiple


panels that slide over each other to create a larger
opening. They are commonly used in high-capacity
elevators, such as those in office towers.
