Instructions for Data with FXCM

Requirements:
Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 system with .NET framework
Active FXCM account
AbleTrend 7.0 (Download and Install from link, http://www.wintick.com/downloads)

1. First, download and install the FXCM API by clicking on the link below,
http://www.fxcorporate.com/Order2Go/FXOrder2Go.EXE
(The API software is required to use FXCM for data.)

2. Please make sure that your computer has the Microsoft SP1 C++ Redistribution
Package, you can download and install the file from the URL here,
http://www.wintick.com/Files/vcredist_x86.exe

3. Update your API by clicking on the Windows Start button, All Programs, FXOrder2Go,
and then click on Update Order2Go.

4. Optional: If you do not have the current FXCM Trading Stations in your system,
download and install it from here, http://www.fxcm.com/software-download.jsp

5. After completing all of the above, start the AbleTrend 7.0 program. Click Advanced
until you see Choose Your Module, drop down and select FXCM. Input your FXCM
username and password. The Server and Port box should be left blank unless you’re
using a live FXCM account. (If you are using a live FXCM account, the Server box is still
blank, but type in the word “Real” under the Port box.)

6. The general symbol format for FXCM is standard, such as EUR/USD, GBP/JPY, etc.

Notes:
 The FXCM API only allows one third party application to run at a time.
Applications such as the Chart Trading/AOE module can not be run with the
FXCM data module at the same time.
