ACT 1.
EXT - DOORSTEP- DAY.
It’s a normal day in the neighbourhood and everything was
fine, with a little traffic on the main road. We get an
ESTABLISHING SHOT Of the house.
The doorbell RINGS as we see a parcel and letter on the
doorstep of ANDYS house. He opens the door with a slight grin
to his face and takes them inside.
Cut to:
INT - DINING ROOM- DAY.
Andy, a seventeen-year-old boy with curly hair and introvert
puts them on the table and slightly opens the top of the
envelope trying not to uncover the whole letter, just to peek
and see if it was from the art school.
He smiles t himself taking it in and trying to supress his
excitement until he cant take it anymore and opens it fully.
He sees he has been accepted.
Andy’s face suddenly changes when he looks over to his right
and sees the pile of bills that have yet to been paid. He then
put the letter in his side pocket and wakes the letter and
upstairs.
Cut to:
INT- BEDROOM - DAY.
His mood is flat and reality has hit Andy right in the face.
He sits on his chair and thinks.
Andy

ROBERT
Yeh
ANDY
(continued)
And I don’t know what to do. Like where
do I get the money from its not like my
mum can wave a wand and hundred thousand
pound suddenly drops into my hands, is it.
Robert
Why don’t you just ask for a loan my
dad owns a loan company or if not just
beg for money or
Robert pulls some money out of his pocket and places it on the
table.
Robert
Take it or leave it (a slight pause.) The choice is yours.
FADE TO WHITE.
INT:DINING ROOM- DAY.
Andy puts his phone on loudspeaker ringing Vincent, again
addressing his situation. He is eating a snack and in the
middle of a painting with art supplies and canvas spread out
on the table.
ANDY
Hello, Vincent it’s me don’t speak let me explain, I’ve
been accepted into the Art school
Vincent
The New York one?
Andy (continued)
Yep but it’s a absolute shit tone of money and I
really don’t know what to do.
VINCENT
Well I suppose you can get a job somewhere I’m not
really sure its not really my problem but I can help
you look around for work if needed.
ANDY
A little part time job isn’t going to pay off
One hundred thousand pound is it? And don’t start
getting all bitchy saying ooh its not my problem and
all that rubbish
VINCENT
I’m not being anything mate I was just saying you
know and that’s probably the most sensible thing to
do.
Andy pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration.
VINCENT (continued.)
Anyway, try phoning Banksy he’ll help you surely.
Andy firmly ends the call-in frustration and starts
to bang his head against the black canvas
FADE TO BLACK.
ACT 2.
An alarm clock starts to ring. Andy’s eyes can be seen
openings in shock as he feels ready for the day.
A CLOSE UP ON THE EYES AS HE OPENS THEM.
INT- KITCHEN- DAY.
Andy is getting ready for the day he gets his sandwich out of
the fridge and fills up a water bottle ready to go to collage.
He walks to the porch packs his half empty bag want walks out
the door shutting it with slight force.
INT- CANTEEN- DAY
Vincent and Robert are already sitting down and Andy walks
towards their table looking worn out.
VINCENT
Alright mate, are you ok? Looks like you have seen a
ghost.
ANDY
(He snaps.)
Shut up Vincent you mug, you know what I’m going
through so cut the sarcasm.
Alright?
VINCENT
Yeh alright mate sorry. You came up with an idea
yet.
ANDY
No
A moment of awkward silence is surrounding the groups table.
Robert clicks his finders as an idea comes to mind.
ROBERT
Ok right listen to me, after collage we are going to
meet at a nice café and talk about this problem like
a rich man would. My dad has shares in the Cote café
so we can just eat for free or worst case its only
fifty percent off.
The group nod their head in agreement
ANDY
Alright that’s a plan.
The bell rings for lesson time and the group SHAKE HANDS
before going their separate ways.
The boys are sat in the café by the window. They mime talk as
the camera pushes towards them.
ANDY
Look boys we need to think sensibly and out of the
box if we are going to make this work.
VINCENT
Why don’t you phone up the collage and ask to see if
you can work something out? That’s sensible and
probably the right thing to do.
ROBERT shakes his head as he knows this is a typical Vincent
response.
VINCENT (CONTINUED)
Why are you shanking your head for? Its every time I
have an idea you do this, and this isn’t a problem
you can just throw money at I’m actually trying to
help our friend.
ROBERT
Yeh but…
ANDY (INTERUPS ROBERT.)
Guys will you please shut up. For god sake, Robert
go on
say your idea and Vini don’t interrupt or do
anything.
Vincent shakes his head while reading a menu.
ROBERT
moment to make legit money why don’t you forge
paintings Ok right, if you can’t phone them or get a
job and sell them as originals. You have the skills
so why
don’t you take advantage of it.
ANDY
Hmm, I like this idea. Its risky yes but I love it.
What do we have to loose.
ROBERT
Absolutely nothing.
The pair of them laugh quietly while Vincent’s head
is lying
on the table knowing he is going to be dragged into
this.
ANDY
Vini are you in? For once Banksy’s right we have
nothing to loose and we have a valid reason to do
this.
We will be fine.
ROBERT
Yeh and if worst does come to the worst I can just
Pay the court3 off.
Works every time.
VINCENT.
Oh my God. Can we just get on with this because I
just want to get this done? I could loose
everything, the chance of getting into uni but no I
don’t have a choice.
ANDY
Well then let’s get to work.
Robert laughs in excitement.
INT – ART ROOM – DAY.
The art room is a big place quite open plan and a lot of
windows.
Andy gets out his art supplies and prepares to start painting.
Andy starts mapping out his painting he wants to draw.
He uses his phone as reference to the piece he wants to forge.
Vincent and Robert both enter the studio together side by
side.
ROBERT(sarcastically)
Alright Picasso, how’s the painting going?
ANDY
I haven’t started yet so I cant really tell you.
ROBERT
Fair enough
VINCENT
Have you guts thought about who we are selling the
painting too. We have to think ahead if we are going
ahead with this crazy idea.
ANDY
That’s a good point both of you should start looking
now.
Andy’s eyes are fixed on the page rather that looking at the
pair.
They both start looking for contacts while Andy continues to
paint.
Robert and Vincent are looking through contacts of rich
people.
Vincent points to the phone.
VINCENT
Let’s try him.
ROBERT
Alright
Both of when wait patiently while the phone rings. Both of
them have their fingers crossed.
RICH MAN
Hello
ROBERT
Hi there is a high end dealer like you be interested
by an original and authentic art piece by ………
RICH MAN
How do I know its genuine and I’m not convinced I
really want it?
ROBERT
Listen you are getting an original piece, it’s been
passed down the family and now it in my hands and
believe it should go to a better home.
He fakes that he is about to cry.
ROBERT (CONTINUED)
It’s what my mother would have wanted.
Vincent shakes his head in disbelief in the fact Roberts
faking his own mothers’ death.
RICH MAN
Erm… ok right I can meet you in like half an hour
but I’ll give you my number and message me where to
meet.
The group are happy and bottle there excitement. Robert puts
his middle finger up at the phone.
ROBERT
Yes that’s ok
RICH MAN
Oh what your name
The group begin to start to panic and Vincent is miming to not
use his real name.
ROBERT
Parker, Parker Walton. That’s my name.
RICH MAN
Ok Parker see you soon.
Rich man puts the phone down.
Music starts to play.
The boys celebrate as they are about to seal the deal and gain
the money needed for Andy’s art school fees.
VINCENT
Guys I think we should where masks to hide our identity
so we don’t get recognised.
Vincent then throws three masks down on the table.
ANDY
Wont that seem to suspicious and we look like
criminals?
We could just wear sunglasses or something just to
cover our eyes.
Robert can be seen nodding his head in agreement.
VINCENT (CONTINUED)
Well, you can where what you want I’m going to wear
a mask
ROBERT
I might wear a mask to. The man might know my dad
in some way and I wouldn’t want to give a bad
representation of my family or future business
plans.
ANDY- RAMDOMLY
I need some air I have been in here too long. Meet me at
the spot in five.
Andy was off screen.
VINCENT
That should do it
Robert puts the money and the phone in the shallow hole.
He then covers it back up with mud
The boys then quietly walk away leaving no trace of the money
or phone.
Cut to black
EXT – NYC – NIGHT
Andy can be seen getting his suit case from the airport.
We then see him exit the airport through the doors.
The spins around in excitement as he cant believe he made it.
The End.
