Preamble
KTM designed an electrical motor 11L8 for a motorbike with about 11 KW power as a A-Sample status. The
basic construction and the geometrically dimensions were fixed by KTM.
Baumueller has the task to develop this A-Sample to a ready to go serial production with professional quality,
optimized performance ratings and a cost optimized solution.
The goal of KTM and Baumueller for the motor is to create a symbiosis between performance, quality and
cost optimization.
Therefore there will be an ongoing process until the C3 samples status to fulfill these requirements.
The definition “shall” is therefore the goal for both sides. (goal*)
