LEARNING/LESSON PLANS

PARTICIPATE AND ASSIST


With all these information in mind, you are all set in writing lesson plan. Based on the
instructions given by your Cooperating Teacher, prepare you lesson plan (s) based on
the learning competencies of the lesson. Consider the age appropriateness and level of
communication of your students.
Request lesson plan exemplars/ lesson plan templates from your Resource Teacher. If not
available, you can make use of the basic components of a lesson plan.

Reflection: Lesson planning is indeed time-consuming. Though it is essential for


learning yet the way the teacher strategizes is more valuable than the making of the plan.
Honestly, the sequence crafted is merely done as situations may change in an instant that
is why the focus should be the mastery of the teacher in the particular lesson. As I
observe, the quality of actual learning weighs greater than the quality of the lesson plan
which could fail when the teacher is not prepared and conditioned to teach fully.
