Upon start up any error messages must be acknowledged by selecting the Enter
button once for each error message.

The status of the critical load control is shown on the third line.

ON – critical load control is switched on

OFF – critical load control is switched off

If an error occurs with either of the control levers an error message will
be displayed. At this point you will be able to select the Control Lever
Emergency Program by selecting the F3 membrane switch.

Once the F3 membrane switch has been selected operation of the

disabled control function can be performed by using the directional
arrow membrane switches on the display along with the control lever.

Selecting the F4 membrane switch opens the Telescoping display.

This screen allows you to monitor current telescope status or enter
automatic telescoping mode.

The Telescope Status shows the current position of each telescoping

section. The above example shows all sections are at 0% extended.

Telescope Cylinder Unlocked

When the telescope cylinder is unlocked the display shows the current
length in feet or meters of the telescope cylinder in the lower right corner of
the display.

Telescope Cylinder Pinned to a Section

When the telescope cylinder is pinned to a section the display shows which
section the cylinder is pinned to in brackets > < along with the percentage of
extension. The lower left corner of the display shows the telescoping section
pinned to and the lower right corner shows the extension percentage.

section. Once all values are entered selecting the Enter membrane switch
activates the system.

Flashing Warning Lights

If the four green light diodes above the first line flash three times after the
tele automatic has been started, you have entered a telescoping which is not
permissible according to the lifting capacity table. Furthermore, the display
shows the submenu for entering and you can enter a new permissible
telescoping.

F5 Set Telescope Status after Emergency Operation

Selecting the F5 membrane switch enters the set telescope status after
emergency operation. In order to select the menu the switch must be pressed
three times in a row within 2 seconds. This menu is required if telescoping was
done in emergency mode. Once the status is set, a key code must be entered
to resume operation. (Enter - Up Arrow - Down Arrow - Enter)
