SELF-ANALYSIS

"When you have a dream, you've got to grab it and never let go."
— Carol Burnett

Sometimes, we don’t have any control over our situations. And during those times,
we feel like leaving everything and giving up. One can understand your state-of-mind
during those times. But, you must know that those situations are not worthy enough to
let your dreams die a slow death. Our vision is something that gives us fuel to live our life.
Without a dream, our life will be pointless. So, what you have to do is to hold your hope,
no matter what the situation is.
If you loosen your dream, it will be hard for you to sustain a good life. You will find
nothing but void when you will search the reason for your living. Therefore, again, we are
reminding you that do not afford to lose your dream. It is the only thing that makes us,
humans, superior from any other animal. Well, apart from these, there are several
benefits of dreams as well. It will not only help you to stay alive, but it will also enhance
your psychological conditions. Therefore, keep on dreaming till the day you can achieve
it.

Who are we?
Vicente- our father, the disciplinarian. He seldom talks about many things, but every
time he utters words, we must listen. He taught me that discipline is the key to achieve
my goals.
Antonia- our mother, the absorber of the family, eldest among her siblings. The
breadwinner of her family when my grandmother and grandfather died at a young age.
One important lesson I learned from her is that as long as I can solve my problem, as
long as I can, I don't have to ask other people for help. I need to be tough.
May Ann- the quite one/the eldest/the disciplinarian. As the eldest as I said, I must be
tough. Since my siblings were at a young age, I have to be with them and teach them. I
am the third in command in our family.
Je-Ann- the second child/talkative/soft-hearted. She is my best friend since we only
have two-year gap. She is my absolute opposite. She can express her feelings freely in
our family. She serves as the mediator.
Key-Jay- the jolly one/first male child. He may not be our biological sibling, but he is the
responsible one.
King James Koby- the intelligent/the delicate one. We have to look for him from time to
time since he is not that healthy. He has some emotional flare up, but he is the kindest
among us. He is calm and soft-hearted.
Vince Ezekiel-the youngest/the jolliest/the outspoken one.

Our family may not be that perfect in the eyes of some people. But we survive 3
together in times of hardships and difficulties. We may have so many differences, but we
are always united in making every decision.
Me as…
My life long strategy has been one of improving myself as much as possible in
any way possible. I have found this to be very satisfying and has helped achieve lifelong
balance and happiness in my entire life. As my surroundings and I change my challenge
will be to maintain the balance and happiness for myself and by applying evolution and
growth principles in all and every aspect of my life.
I have come a long way in both my professional and personal life. Many of the
accomplishments in my life I can attribute to my love for growth and productivity that
were inherited and adopted from my parents and teachers. I developed a set of
principles early in life, that are close to my heart. They serve as the lighthouse in a dark
sea, helping me find my way. Here is my inherited list of principles.
Keep your priorities straight.
-Always do your best.
-Be good and kind to yourself and others.
-Care for yourself, your work and for others.
-Always try to make a positive difference.
-Be honest.
-Be productive.
-Be proud. .
-Be happy. .
It is as simple as that. It is always based on those guidelines that I try to function
and evaluate my overall high-level performance as a person. When I know that I did
good, I feel good and that makes me feel happy. My overall goal in life in general is to
maintain a very good balance and happiness for myself and my family. I think I can
guarantee that level of happiness by staying on and maintaining this continued path of
personal growth and improvement. .
In order to properly assess myself I need to first clearly identify where I am, and
where I want to be. Knowing where I came from and how I got here helps me evaluate
whether or not I am going in the right path. Once I have that defined I need to try to
visualize my path to where I want to be and make the necessary adjustments along the
way.
