Would you like to know how a production planner schedules a material


requirement planning (MRP)?

If so, follow this interactive tutorial.

(1) To open the app, select the Schedule MRP Runs tile.

The job template Material Requirements Planning (MRP) has been


selected for you.

(3) In the Job Name field, enter MRP for SG224 and press Enter.

Ensure that Start Immediately has been selected.

This has been selected for you.

(4) To display parameters, select the scroll bar to scroll down.

(5) In the Plant field, enter 1010 and select the Material field.

(6) In the Material field, enter SG224 and press Enter.

(7) Select Changed BOM Components.

Select planning mode 1.

This has been selected for you.

(8) To enter scheduling parameters, select the scroll bar to scroll up.

(9) Choose Define Recurrence Pattern.

Ensure that Start Immediately is selected.

This has been selected for you.

(10) To select a recurrence pattern, open the list.

(11) Choose Single Run.

(13) Choose Schedule.

(14) Choose Go to refresh the application jobs table.

The new job you have scheduled has been added to the application jobs
table.

(15) To return to the launchpad, choose Home.
