TABLE SETTING & CENTERPIECE

GUIDELINES
1. Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to the competition. Late arrival of participants
will lead to deduction to the FINAL SCORE.
2. Order of presentation will be drawn by lottery upon check-in time.
3. Each group or team shall be composed of 2 members
4. The setting up shall start when the organizers give their signal to start. Groups / team
who start before the signal SHALL be disqualified.
5. Each group is given 2 hours to complete the set-up.
6. Participants should be in uniform: ______________________
7. Two (2) points per violation of rule will be deducted from the final score.
8. Judges and Organizers decision is FINAL.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING


CORRECTNESS – 30%
 The judges will inspect each table's setup and the coordinators.
 Questions from the group will be asked by the organizers and judges.

PERSONAL PRESENTATION – 20%


 Correct Standard for arranging a table shall be adhered to strictly, including mise-en-
place also neatness.

CONCEPTUAL ORIGIN 30%


 The way the table is set up is unique and sticks out.
 Respect for the theme is demonstrated.

VISUAL APPEAL – 20%


 Has an impact on the eye.
 Tables, chairs, and the background should all be in contrast.\

TOTAL POSSIBLE SCORE 100%


TABLE NAPKIN FOLDING

GUIDELINES
1. Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to the competition. Late arrival of participants

4. Participants will demonstrate seven (10) basic fold as enumerated below and two (2)
special fold which they create themselves.

5. Contestants will be given a time of _____________________to demonstrate both the
basic and special folds.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Technical Napkin Folding – 30%


The performance showcases different styles in napkin folding with accuracy and
correctness.       
            
Neatness of Presentation – 20%
Napkins are folded in a satisfactory manner without crumple
 
Time Execution – 20%
The execution of the basic and special fold demonstrations was punctual.

Creativity – 20%
Manifest original idea base on the theme upon presentation

Cleanliness and Hygiene – 10%


Ensures the sanitary and hygienic handling of linens
 

TOTAL POSSIBLE SCORE 100%
