SPEED UP A SLOW METABOLISM
For those who are overweight and tend to be lazy, the problem is probably a slow metabolism.
You need to hyper your metabolism so that you burn up more calories even while at rest. When hyper
your metabolism, our body is far more like to take on that muscular, shapely look, because you will
get rid of fat. Both men and women improve their appearance (and appeal) enormously when extra fat
is more difficult for them to burn fat and build musles. Still, you can do something about it, whether
you are a man or a woman.
To speed up your metabolism and drop unwanted pounds, you need to follow certain
guidelines. Increase your training frequency. Split your workout into two or three parts and train at
least five days a week. In extreme cases, you may want to split up your training routine even more and
train twice daily. This will increase your metabolism even more. Extra calories will be burned and
additional fat will be lost.
Do not cut calories dramatically. Keep your diet natural by eating plenty of raw, wholesome
fruits, vegetables and grain, the complex carbohydrates. Fat level should be low. Even moderate
caloric cutbacks can be understood by the slow metabolic type’s body as a signal that starvation is at
hand; consequently, it stores more fat than ever.
Exercise in addition to your bodybuilding routine. The best exercises are the aerobic exercises,
done for thirty minutes, three times a week. Jogging, aerobic dance, rowing, stair climbing,
mountaineering, cross – country skiing, and swimming are ideal. Regular aerobic exercise increases
metabolism all day long. “Those who are aerobically active burn increased numbers of calories even
when not exercising,” say the researchers at the university of New Hampshire.
Go for a walk after all meals. This mild exercise uses up calories before they have a chance to
be stored as fat.
Keep your bodybuilding workouts. One of the rewards of adding muscles mass to the body is
that muscle (by its very existence), increase metabolic rate. The more muscle you build, the more fat
you lose. You are taking extra calories from your system every moment of the day and night. Muscle
is active tissue. It burns calories around the clock.
