Processing Question
1. Describe what you see in the mirror. How do you see yourself?
I see a tired person. Not that old but not too young anymore. He seems very
sleepy just by looking at his eyes. I see myself as someone who has a lot of
experiences already. Someone who is tired in life already. Someone who have
seen enough.
2. Why do you see yourself that way? How do you feel about your appearance?
I see myself that way since I think it’s very obvious and anyone who see me could
tell it very easily. Especially my eyes. Many people like my eyes since it’s very
expressive but they always mentioned that my eyes looks sad. Like it holds a lot
of worries and I think it’s very true. What I feel about my appearance is that it’s
just average young adult. Full of my moles in my face. I have a lot of insecurities
about my appearance but although I wanted to positive and embrace my
appearance but I couldn’t help sometimes looking envious towards other people
whom I considered superior in terms of appearance.
3. If you can change some parts of yourself, what specific parts will you change? Why or
why none at all?
For me, I would change nothing although I have a lot of insecurities with my
appearance but my appearance is a combination of my parent’s genes especially
my father. My father died when I was still a toddler that’s why I don’t have much
memories of him nor idea what he looks like. My mom and my other relatives
always told me that I’m a carbon copy of my father and as I grow older the
resemble between me and him is very similar. That’s why I use to look in the
mirror when I was still young since I wanted to see what my father look like.

3. I am conscious of how I look because I think it’s very normal for my age to be
conscious of our personal appearances and in order to avoid discrimination and also
to look presentable in public. Most of the time, I am conscious due to the fear of
being bullied/ made fun of since it would turned as my insecurities in life and could
create a harmful effect on my mental health.
4. I believe I am beautiful because I want to motivate myself that I should be proud of
what I look like and be happy about it. I believe also since I wanted to show that a

learn to.

really love and also challenging myself to do things that I don’t usually do.
Prioritizing myself in this time of pandemic is very important in order to take care of

could be helpful for me in the future. Lastly, I could take care of myself by looking
forward for tomorrow. Knowing that there’s another day means a new great things to
learn or experience. A new knowledge that could be meaningful for me. And by being
happy with what I do is a sign of taking care of myself in this time of pandemic.
Personal Reflection.
Beautiful.
For me the songs wanted to convey to us that we are beautiful no matter what they say. Despite
the pain, the words, the challenges that the world may tried to bring to us, we shouldn’t waiver.
We should not let ourselves consumed by those words. We must be confident. In every single
way, we are all beautiful.
