Entrepreneurial competencies are important in many


ways. They facilitate opportunity recognition, help
adapt rapidly to changes, enhance business
performance, strengthen the firm’s competitive
position, and ultimately, stir the achievement of
organizational success.
Entrepreneurial Competencies are the sum total of
the personality, skills and knowledge that an
entrepreneur possesses, which is necessary to
effectively perform their functions and
responsibilities.
