Once upon a time, in a countryside there were two animals who were very close,
which is a cow named Moo and a sheep named Mbe. They were so close because
they had something in common in terms of food. They helped each other. But the
difference is Moo always feels like he’s better than Mbe. Besides a cow and a
sheep, there’re a mouse named Kukus befriended with a frog named Ropy.
One day at the edge of a field, Kukus and Ropy were together. They looked like
they were preparing equipments to play with. Suddenly Kukus saw Moo and Mbe
approach them.
“Hey, where are you going? Come play together with us.” greet Kukus to Moo and
Mbe.
“Woah, I want to… I’m just walking around with Mbe.” answered Moo excitedly.
“Yeah!” added Mbe.
“What are we going to play?” asked Moo.
“Here, I already prepared the cooking equipments, we’re going to play cook.”
answered kukus while pointing to their equipments.
Moo suddenly approached those equipments and said, “I want to take this one, this
one, this one, and this one.” Kukus hasn’t even let them touch anything yet but
Moo immediately picked it up and was busy by himself. While Ropy, Mbe, and
Kukus were just staring at Moo.
Slowly, Ropy, Mbe and Kukus approached Moo and played together. But those
three were still a little upset and annoyed at Moo. Shameless Moo, he behaved like
those toys are his and playing just by himself.
“If I knew that this would happen I won’t invite Moo to play together.” there’s a
feeling of regret in Kukus’ heart.
One week has passed.
The grass in the fields was about to run out, Moo and Mbe collected foods as much
as possible for tomorrow. Mbe’s body is smaller and he has to save much more
food because he always got hungry.
“My body is smaller, if I don’t eat much I will get skinny.” said Mbe to Moo.
“My body is bigger than yours, I’m the one that should eat more. My stomach is
bigger.” replied Moo.
They keep fighting over their foods.
“I’m taller than you, so I can take those leaves that are way higher too. While you
have to ask me for help you to take those leaves. You always need me, Mbe.” Moo
starts to brag about himself.
“Moo, why are you so arrogant. We’re so close for so long but why are you selfish.
You’re so mean, Moo.” while sobbing.
“But it’s true, right? You have to ask for my help to take your own foods? You can
die if I’m not with you, Mbe.” answered Moo.
*Sob* “You’re so mean!” said Mbe while hitting Moo.
Moo feels like he’s better then everyone. And finally Mbe went to another place to
find foods.
“Rather than I die because waiting for Moo to search foods for me, I better find
mine at another place.” said Mbe.
After a long walk, Mbe finally found a field full of a really dense green grass. Mbe
were happy seeing that field. “Woah! That field is so beautiful. I’m glad I went
here from the field where Moo is there.” said Mbe.
When he arrived in the field, Mbe met with Ropy and Kukus.
“Hey, why are you guys here?” asked Mbe to Ropy and Kukus.
“Well I come here often, because the grass here are really green.” answered Ropy.
“I’m not in a mood to come to the field there because there’s Moo there. Moo is
selfish, he always take my things. One time he came to my place and borrowed my
toys without my permission. I don’t like that.” answered Kukus with a full
frustration.
“I’m sorry for that Kukus, my toys has also been ruined by Moo.” Replied Ropy.
Moo always borrows his friends’ things by forced.
Day after day has passed
Moo keeps looking around hoping that Mbe will come after him. Every day Moo
waits for Mbe’s and the other’s appearance. But actually it’s only his wish. Now
Moo lives by himself, his friends leaves him because of his greed, selfishness, and
arrogance.
Kisah Persahabatan Seekor Sapi, Domba,
Mereka saling membantu satu sama lain. Namun perbedaannya, Moo selalu merasa
Mereka
terlihat sedang mempersiapkan peralatan untuk bermain-main. Tiba-tiba Kukus
melihat Moo dan Mbe menghampirinya.
“Hey kalian mau kemana? Sini ikutan bermain bersama dengan kita.” Sapa Kukus
kepada Moo dan Mbe.
“Wah mau dong mauu....Aku sedang berjalan-jalan aja kok sama Mbe.” Jawab Moo dengan
girang.
Kamu pasti butuh aku Mbe.” Moo mulai
menyombongkan dirinya
“Moo, kenapa kamu sombong sekali. Kita sudah lama berteman akrab tapi
mengapa kamu mementingkan dirimu sendiri. Kamu jahat Moo.” Sambil menangis
tersedu-sedu.
“Tapi memang benar kan kalau kamu harus meminta tolong dulu sama aku kalau
kamu mau mengambil makanan?
“Waah indah sekali rerumputan disana.
Untung aku pergi dari ladang tempat Moo berada.”
“Hey kok kalian disini?” Tanya Mbe kepada Ropy dan Kukus.
“Iya aku memang sering bermain disini, habis disini rumputnya hijau-hijau.”
Jawab Ropy.

Buaya kemudian
memanggil semua teman-temannya dan keluarganya. Mereka berbaris di
seberang sungai. Kancil lalu melompat ke punggung buaya. “Satu,” ia
menghitung. Dia melompat ke buaya berikutnya, “Dua.” Dan buaya
berikutnya, “Tiga.” Kancil terus melompat sampai ia tiba di sisi lain sungai.
“Berapa banyak?” Tanya Buaya. “Cukup,” kata Kancil. Dia tertawa sambil
berlari ke hutan.
