Lesson Plan Week 3

The lesson plan outlines a lesson on identifying sewing tools and their uses. It will teach students about drafting tools like the L-square, hip curve, and French curve used for making paper patterns. Pressing tools like the flat iron, ironing board, pressing cloth, sleeve board, and pressing ham are also explained as tools used to smooth and shape fabrics. Students will learn how to identify these tools, their purposes, and demonstrate ironing. They will then complete an activity identifying sewing tools and create a sewing kit for a take-home assignment.
