CAUTION
Entry at recruitment rally site will only be permitted to candidates in possession of valid Admit Cards, COVID vaccination
certificate, valid Affidavit duly filled and signed by Notary.
NOTICE
1. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before applying for rally.
2. Certificates with overwriting / tempering will not be accepted.
3. Candidates appear in the recruitment rally at their own risk. No compensation for Death/ Injury / Loss etc is
admissible.
4. Do not use performance enhancing drugs during physical tests. Drug test will be conducted during recruitment rally.
Candidates having found to have used the same will be debarred from further screening.
5. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the
reverse side of palm / back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable.
6. Mobile Phones are not permitted in the rally site.
7. Recruitment into the Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribe to anyone for recruitment as
selection is purely on merit.
8. Do not waste your money on touts. Recruiting process has been computerised and touts cannot do anything. Have
faith in your transparent and purely based on merit.
9. Giving / taking bribe, production of bogus / fake certificates and indulging in unfair means is a criminal offence and
liable for punishment under law.
10. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming for selection especially with
respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of
wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the rally.
11. All candidates to carry Masks, gloves and hand sanitizer.
12. Kindly also carry rain coat to cater for rains during Monsoon.
13. Certificates of Bonus Marks. All original certificates / photocopies duly attested pertaining to Bonus
marks/Relaxation will be accepted only during the Rally. No certificates to include NCC Certificates, Relationship Certificates
and any other certificates to claim Bonus Marks / Relaxation would be accepted after termination of the Rally.
14. Please ensure that your online application has been submitted. There is difference between saving and submitting. A
submitted document will reflect in your application history.
Special Instructions
1. The salient aspects of terms and conditions of service for persons enrolled through the Agnipath Scheme
for service in the IA are mentioned in the succeeding paragraphs.
2. Terms and Conditions.
(a) Enrolment.
(i) Candidates will be enrolled under Army Act 1950 for a service duration of four (04) years including
the training period.
(ii) Agniveers so enrolled will be subject to Army Act, 1950 and will be liable to go wherever ordered,
by land, sea or air.
(iii) Agniveers enrolled under the scheme, will not be eligible for any kind of Pension or Gratuity.

(b) Service.
(ii) Agniveers would form a distinct rank in the IA, different from any other existing ranks.
(iii) Leave, Uniform, Pay & Allowances during the service period of four years will be governed by
orders and instructions in respect of such individuals issued by the Government of India (GOI) from
time to time.
(iv) Agniveers will be liable to be assigned any duty in organisational interest, as decided from time to
time.
(v) Personnel enrolled through Agniveers Scheme, will be required to undergo periodical medical
check-ups and physical/written/field tests as governed by orders issued. The performance so
demonstrated would be considered for subsequent offer for enrolment in the Regular Cadre.
(vi) Agniveers can be posted to any regiment/unit and can be further transferred in organisational
interest.
(c) Discharge.
(ii) On discharge after completion of four years, Agniveers will be paid a ‘Seva Nidhi’ package to
enable them to return to the society for pursuing employment in the other sectors.
(iii) Agniveers will not be eligible for any kind of pension or gratuity, neither will they be eligible for
Ex Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Canteen Stores Department (CSD) facilities,
Ex Serviceman status and other related benefits.
(iv) Agniveers will be barred from disclosing classified information gained during service to any
unauthorised person or source under Official Secrets Act, 1923.
(i) Based on organisational requirements and policies promulgated Agniveers who are completing
their engagement period in each batch will be offered an opportunity to apply for enrolment in the
regular cadre of IA. These applications will be considered in a centralised manner by the army based
on an objective criteria including performance during their engagement period and not more than 25%
of each specific batch of Agniveers will be enrolled in regular cadre of the IA, post completion of their
four years engagement period.
(ii) Agniveers so enrolled as regular cadre would be required to serve for a further engagement period
of 15 years and will be governed by terms and conditions of service (of Junior Commissioned
Officers/Other Ranks in IA) currently in vogue (as amended from time to time). Agniveers will not have
any right to be selected. Selection will be exclusive jurisdiction of the IA.
(iii) With introduction of this Scheme, the enrolment of Soldiers in the regular cadre of IA, except
technical cadres of Medical Branch, will be available only to those personnel who have completed their
engagement period as Agniveer.
3. Employability.
(a) Agniveers will be liable to be assigned any duty in organisational interest, as decided from time to
time.
(b) Agniveers can be posted to any regiment/unit and can be further transferred to other regiments/units in
organisational interest.

4. Leave. Grant of leave will be subject to exigencies of service. The following leave may be applicable for
Agniveers during their engagement period:-
(ii) From the above package, 30% will be compulsorily deposited every month in a corpus
which will be matched by the GOI. Balance amount less the corpus contribution will be the in-hand
component.
(b) Seva Nidhi Package. On discharge at 4 years, the corpus of Rs 5.02 lakhs will be matched by GOI,
an amount of Rs10.04 lakhs and accrued interest will be given to the Agniveers. In case of Agniveers who
are subsequently selected for enrolment in IA as regular cadre, the “Seva Nidhi” package to be paid to
them will comprise only their contribution including accrued interest thereon. In the case of Agniveers
existing service before the end of their engagement period on their own request, the individual’s Seva Nidhi
package, accumulated as on date, will be paid with the applicable rate of interest. In such cases, no Govt
contribution to Seva Nidhi Package will be entitled. The “Seva Nidhi” will be exempt from Income Tax.
(c) Payment Modality-Seva Nidhi Package. Two options to receive Seva Nidhi package will be
provided to each Agniveers, with an aim to provide financial loans from self employment/entrepreneurship
through a bank Guarantee as also to meet immediate/ incidental expenses, on exit. Firm details will be
promulgated separately.
(d) Allowances. The Agniveer pay is a composite package and he will not be eligible for any Dearness
Allowance and Military Service Pay. He will get applicable Risk & Hardship, Ration, Dress and Travel
allowances as decided by the GOI from time to time.
(e) Agniveers will be exempted from making any contribution in Armed Forces Personnel Provident Fund
or any other Provident Fund.
(f) There shall be no entitlement towards gratuity or pensionary benefits for Agniveers enrolled through
this Scheme.
6. Life Insurance Cover. Agniveer will be provided non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs
for the duration of their engagement period and they will not be eligible for Army Group Insurance Fund (AGIF)
Schemes/ benefits.
(a) The maximum period of service for Agniveers will be as enumerated at Para 2 above. However, the
services of Agniveers under this scheme may be terminated at any time in accordance with the Army Act
1950.

(b) Release at own request prior to completion of terms of engagement of Agniveers is not permitted.
However, in most exceptional cases, personnel enrolled under this scheme may be released, if sanctioned
by competent authority.
8. Benefits for Personnel Exiting at Four Years of Service. After completing four years of service (as
applicable), the following benefits will be offered to the existing individuals:-
(a) Seva Nidhi Package. Refer para 5 (b) above. The corpus generated after four years of contribution
will be paid to the exiting Agniveers.
(b) ‘Agniveer’ Skill Certificate. At the end of engagement period, a detailed Skill set certificate will be
provided to the Agniveers, highlighting the skills and level of competency acquired by the personnel during
their engagement period.
(c) Class 12th Certificate. Agniveers who have been enrolled after qualifyling Class 10th, a certificate for
12th (equivalent) will be given on completion of their 4 years engagement period, based on skills attained.
Detailed instruction shall be issued separately.
(a) All candidates to log in to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status and create their
profile.
(b) Online Registration (submission of application) will commence from 09 August 2022 and close on
07 September 2022.
(c) Candidates will login after 04 October 2022 and take printout of the admit card which they will carry
to Rally Site.
(d) Candidates will be allowed to participate in the Rally if they produce Admit Card.
10. Army Recruitment Rally under Agnipath scheme will be held at Bombay Engineer Group & Centre,
Kirkee (Pune), Maharashtra from 06 December 2022 to 11 December 2022 for eligible female
candidates of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, UT of Daman, Diu, Dadar & Nagar Haveli. Admit Card for the
rally will be sent through registered email from 04 October 2022 to 08 October 2022. Candidate should
reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in Admit Card.
11. The screening of candidates will be carried out for following categories as per qualitative requirement:-
Important - Kindly note that once the registration of candidates is over, a cut off list will be generated
and admit cards will be issued only to a limited number of candidates proportionate to the vacancies
required to be filled. Cut off merit list will be decided based on first the aggregate marks in 10th class
and thereafter if there are more candidates with the same marks, then candidates of higher age will be
preferred.
Upper age limit will be relaxable upto 30 yrs of age (as on date of joining training) in respect of widows
of Defence personnel who have died in harness.
Note: # The upper age limit has been relaxed from 21 years to 23 years as onetime measure for the
Recruiting Year 2022-23.

(e) Domicile and Class /Caste certificate will be considered to determine applicability of
height relaxation.
(c) High Jump 3 Feet - Need to qualify (ii) Between 9000 Ft to 12000 Ft - Add
120 Secs to all timings.
14. Physical Measurement (At Rally Site). Physical measurement will be carried out as per the
Physical standards.

15. Medical Standards.
(a) Fitness. To be deemed Fit, a candidate must be in good physical and mental health and
free from any disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of military duty in all weather
and across all terrains. The selected candidates will have to appear for medical examination during
the recruitment rally as per laid down medical standards. Unfit candidates will be referred to MH /
CH / BH for specialist review. Candidates referred for specialist review should present themselves
to the nominated MH / CH / BH within 14 days of the referral and report back to ARO for issue of
Admit Card for CEE, in case declared FIT.
(b) Gender. Any candidate if found to have predominantly masculine characteristics evidenced
on external physical examination, will be rejected as UNFIT. Any candidate having undergone
gender reassignment surgery will be declared UNFIT.
(c) Pregnancy. Any female candidate, if found to be pregnant shall be disqualified and her
candidature rejected. A candidate should not have conceived at the time of reporting or till
conclusion of training at CMP Centre and School. A Medical Certificate from a Government
Medical Doctor (with minimum MBBS qualifications) stating the no pregnant status of a candidate
will be produced on reporting for the recruitment rally, and a fresh certificate again, when reporting
to the Training Centre, failing which the individual will be rejected summarily.
(d) At the time of the recruiting medical examination, all candidates will invariably be required to
render a certificate that they do not suffer primary/secondary amenorrhoea, or menorrhagia (this
will be explained in a language, and in terms that they understand). Candidates with the above
mentioned conditions will be declared medically UNFIT.
(e) If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical test at the rally and dispatch, medical
will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.
(f) Vaccination Certificate. All candidates appearing for rally should be fully vaccinated for
Covid-19. The certificate to be produced to auth upon asking.
(h) Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming for
selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements.
All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the
rally.
(a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Venue and time of written
test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards.
(b) Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself. Admit
Cards for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued at ARO after they are declared medically
fit by concerned specialist/ specialist at Military Hospital / Base Hospitals / Command Hospitals.
(d) CEE for selected candidates will be held tentatively in the month of Jan 23.

Sportswomen
(c) Represented State at the Senior / Junior National Level and have 15 Marks
won any medal in individual event or have reached upto eighth
position in Team event.
(d) Represented College / University in Inter University Championship 10 Marks
and have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto
sixth position in the team event.
(e) Represented State at National Level in Khelo India Games and 10 Marks
have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto sixth
position in the team event.
(f) Represented District at the State Level and have won any medal in 05 Marks
individual event or have reached upto fourth position in the Team
event.
(g) Represented the State School team in the event org by All India 05 Marks
School Games Federation and have won any medal in individual
event or upto sixth position in the Team event
NCC Certificate
Note:-
(i) Only one type of Bonus Marks (Max of the permissible) will be added to the total.
(v) Sports Certificate are valid for two years from the issue date as on first day of the
recruitment rally for which the candidate is being screened.
18. Candidates are required to bring following documents/ certificates in original with two attested
photocopies with them to the rally site: -
(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
(b) Photograph. Twenty (20) copies of unattested Passport size color photographs
developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months
old. Computerized/photocopied / shopped photographs will NOT be accepted.

(c) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper as per
specimen duly attested by notary will be submitted by candidate at the Rally Site without fail.
Format of affidavit attached as per Appendix ‘A’. Submission of Affidavit is Mandatory to
gain entry into the Rally. Candidates WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to enter the rally without
affidavit.
(i) Education Certificates with marks sheet of all educational qualification achieved by
candidate i.e Metric / Intermediate etc from recognized school/College/Board/University.
(ii) Provisional/Online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of
the educational institution of concerned Board/University.
(iii) Candidates with Metric certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving
Certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.
(f) Class / Caste Certificate. Class / Caste Certificate affixed with photograph of the
candidate issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
(g) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate to be issued by the Tehsildar / SDM (If religion as
“SIKH/ HINDU / MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate).
(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by
Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particular of the Record Officer
issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/stamp is endorsed. Relationship
certificate should bear water marks of the concern Records.
(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Servicemen also to be produced. Name and date of
birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.
(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A/B/C Certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly
attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A/B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if
authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders. No bonus marks are to be allotted
unless the certificate (Relationship/ Sports/NCC) have been verified. An undertaking to the effect
will be obtain from the candidate. Provisional certificates are accepted only during the notified rally
duration neither, earlier nor later.

(m) Sports Certificates.
(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at international level and State at National level
within the last two years (for list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is
admissible, attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website).
(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State level and University team at
Interuniversity Championship within last two years (Sports Certificate should be with
registration number and from government recognized sport institutes/ bodies).
(iii) List of Sports. List of Sports for enrolment is attached as Appendix ‘D’ .
(n) Unmarried Certificate. Candidate must be unmarried female and a citizen of India less
exceptions as given below. Unmarried Certificate for candidates with photograph issued by Village
Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.
(i) Women who are widowed, divorced or legally separated are also eligible provided
they do not have any children.
(ii) Widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness will be eligible to apply for
enrolment as Women MP. Such widows even with children will be, however, eligible only if
they have not remarried. All such candidates will however be required to meet the
educational cut off percentage requirement for being shortlisted for screening at the
recruitment rally (as given out on Education Requirement column).
(iii) Marriage During Training. Candidates must undertake not to marry until they
complete the full training at the CMP Centre and School, Bengaluru. A candidate, who
marries subsequent to the date of her application, though otherwise successful at the CEE
and physical exam or medical examination, will not be selected for training. A candidate
may be dismissed from service if she marries during training or is found to be already
married inspite of giving an undertaking regarding the same.
(p) Certificate of Bonus Marks. All original certificates / photocopies duly attested pertaining to
Bonus marks will be accepted only during the Rally. No certificates to include NCC
Certificates, Sports Certificates, Relationship Certificates or any other Certificates to
claim Bonus Marks / Relaxation would be accepted after termination of the Rally.
(p) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & Aadhar
Card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay & allowances and other
social benefits scheme.
(a) Any candidate who had not received admit card 05 days prior to the Rally, may
approach nearest Army Recruiting Office for further clarification.
(b) For online registration & online application, assistance will also be provided to
candidates at Recruiting Office (HQ), Pune on working days from 1000 Hours to 1400 Hours.
(c) 01 October 2022 will be taken as effective date of determining age eligible for candidate.
Candidates to produce birth certificate at the time of preliminary document check.

(d) Candidates are required to report at the Rally Site by 0400 Hours on their respective
scheduled dates. Candidates reporting after 0600 hrs without appropriate justification will not be
permitted to participate in the Rally.
(e) Personnel e-mail ID and Mobile Number is as MUST. All important messages will be sent to
this e-mail ID/ Mobile Number like short listed/call letter/joining instruction/result etc. Sharing of e-
mail ID and Mobile Number is not permitted. Remember the User Name and Password for future
use. Army Recruiting Office/ HQ Recruiting Zone, Pune will not be responsible for not getting
required information if e-mail / Mobile Number of candidates given is wrong / changed).
(f) Candidate must carry their AADHAR Card which could be authenticated biometrically at the
Rally Site. Candidates to ensure AADHAR details are matching with the details mentioned in the
documents and the Online Application. Candidates from J&K, Assam and Meghalaya are to carry
any other valid ID Proof.
(g) Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and DOB (Date of birth) must be
entered exactly as per Matriculation / 10th Class Board Certificate.
(h) Candidate must enter contact details and permanent home address exactly as per
Domicile/Nativity/Permanent Residential Certificate issued by Sub Divisional Magistrate/District
Magistrate.
(j) Those not in possession of required documents will not be permitted to participate in the
Rally.
(k) Touts. In the past, a number of candidates have been found victims of touts, fake
documents/impersonation and in the bargain have lost their candidature. Modus
operandi/means used by the touts are as under:-
(i) Issue of fake PFT Slips/impersonation during various stages of rally. Conduct
fake recruitment rallies.
(ii) Snatching/taking away original certificates from candidates who have been
declared fit at initial stage and thereafter harassing them.
(iii) Taking away “ADMIT CARD” from the candidates under plea that they will
follow up their results.
(v) Once a candidate gets through on his own efforts, touts demand money in
return of the original certificates.
(l) A Grievance Cell will be established at the Rally Site to redress any grievances.
(m) Recruitment is purely based on merit list depending on available vacancies. Candidates do
not have any right to claim recruitment in Army just for passing in recruitment process.
(n) Candidates not in possession of requisite certificates are liable for rejection.
Important Instructions
20. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card
induplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, Anyone found
with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police.

21. Recruitment into the army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribe to anyone for
recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during recruitment at all stages is
computerized and transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to be beware of touts as they cannot
help them at any stage.
22. Giving/taking bribe, production of bogus/fake certificates and indulging in unfair means is a criminal
offence and liable for punishment under law.
23. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before participating in the rally.
Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting education criteria will be disqualified.
24. Certificates with overwriting and tampering of seals or erasing/alteration of any type will not be
accepted.
25. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies before enrolment
into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents. Even after
recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found to have produced fake documents or
gave wrong information at the time of recruitment, despite the number of years of service individual may
have rendered.
26. No compensation for Death/Injury/loss etc during the rally and no travelling allowance/dearness
allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally at their own risk and the
participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of Indemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.
27. Character certificate without photo attested by certificate issuing authority will be rejected.
28. Candidates to come for the rally only on the date as per Admit Card. Candidates should bring
pen, Handkerchief, Masks, Sanitizer & Rain Coat.
29. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performance enhancing drugs is
strictly banned. Any candidate found in possession of or to have used the same will be debarred from
further screening.
30. Tattoo.
(a) Candidates belonging to tribal communities/from tribal areas, are permitted to have
permanent body tattoos on any part of the body, as per existing customs and traditions of the said
tribe to which a candidate belongs. Such candidates will only be permitted on producing the
following two certificates:-

barred from further selection.
31. Selection is provisional till they report for training at CMP Centre and School, Bangalore for training.
Joining letter will be issued to shortlisted candidates with 'Date of Reporting’ and candidates will report to
the Training Centre on that day.
32. Mobile phones are not permitted in the rally site and at the time of CEE.

33. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for two to three times. Candidates should
make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements.
34. Result of written examination will be declared on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in.
No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is responsibility of candidate to check his result and
report to Recruiting Office (HQ) Pune for documentation.
