They dont have faith. faith the we cannot and The Hebrew writer says that without Sadly, please God (Hebrews 11:6). both world Christians think that faith is something that you can simply get. Some people have the idea that you can just go get faith like you can go to the store and get a carton of milk! The Bible says, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). We must dig into the word of God in order to receive faith; faith does not come by accident. Once we have an established faith then we must build upon that faith. The apostle Peter spoke of building our Christian life upon our faith. Peter writes:

Without having God atop our list of priorities, our homes will crumble and fall at the foundation. Secondly, the Bible

teaches that personal faith is something that must be built or established, not gotten. When God decided to destroy the world with a flood, he found a man named Noah that shinned like a star in a darkened world of sin. an ark of gopher God wood called Noah to make or build (Genesis 6:14). Now God did

not tell Noah to go out and get an ark, but to build one. The Hebrew writer says, By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge selfcontrol, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; (2 Peter 1:5-10, NKJV).

Paul speaks of in Galatians 5:22-23, do not come by accident. Christians must work diligently in order to grow as we ought. Maybe this is what Paul had in mind when he told the brethren at Philippi, Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).
