Concept Paper PDF

This document summarizes an activity where students designed an ideal product based on feedback from interviews. The students conducted two interviews each with a partner to understand their needs and preferences. They came up with initial design concepts and received feedback. Based on the feedback, they iterated and designed a final solution - a ballpen that functions as a projector and has specialized features like Bluetooth connectivity, adjustable lens, battery display, power button and LED indicator. The design process involved understanding the user's goals, capturing insights, generating alternatives, sharing solutions, and iterating the design based on feedback to create an ideal product that meets the user's needs.

Notes Exhibit A: The user is concerned on the longevity of the battery so I made a USB port for a convenient charging.
Feedback: The user said it might be more convenient if it's wireless.

Exhibit B: I made another option for the user which is a battery-powered ballpen that can be both replaced and
charged if it runs out.
Feedback: The user agreed with the idea of a battery-powered ballpen. She wants it also to have a wireless
connection for her files.

Exhibit C: The user noted the convenience of transferring files from one device to another so I decided to make it
accessible for Bluetooth connection plus a replaceable battery as she prefers it wireless.
Feedback: The user is satisfied with the result and added another feature to be included to the set-up, a LED
indicator.

After reflecting on the previous feedbacks, I came

up with the final version of an ideal ballpen. It is a
ballpen that functions as a projector at the same
time. It has specialized features according to the
user's preferences which includes:
4. Adjustable lens

1. A removable head cap for refilling ink.

2. Accessibility via Bluetooth for the transfer and 5. Battery display
sharing of files.
3. For ballpoint tip (works when you twist to 3. Twist to expose ballpoint
