Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Review and analyze system specifications and create a testing strategy.

2. Collaborate with Software Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.

3. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

4. Evaluate product code according to specifications.

5. Create logs to document testing phases and defects

6. Report bugs and errors to development teams

7. Help troubleshoot issues

8. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
lifecycle

Skills required:

1. Should have knowledge of SDLC, Bug life cycle, and software testing.

2. Demonstrated ability and experience in translating product definitions (use cases,


requirements etc.) into test cases.

3. Excellent knowledge of QA processes and Agile Methodology.

4. Excellent hands-on skills with testing activities (functional testing, system testing, integration
testing, Regression, Sanity, UAT etc.)

5. Flexible work style, comfortable with adapting to various work assignments.

6. Excellent problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.

7. Experience in analyzing requirement specifications for testability.

8. Ability to understand and interpret correctly UI specifications, design docs, software


requirements, design guidelines.

9. Familiar with using test/defect management tools (JIRA knowledge would be preferred).
10. Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: up to 4 LPA
