ZIPGRADE: SIMPLIFYING TEACHERS’ TASKS

The teacher and lecturer law states that the teacher is a professional educator with
the main task of teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating of students.
The assessment of learning outcomes at primary and secondary education levels is carried
out by educators, education units and the government. There are various ways to assess the
results of the student learning experience; the most common methods include using Zip
Grades. ZipGrade has far more complicated functions and uses than only scanning answer
sheets and compiling spreadsheets of results, but doing only that has been enough to make
me a person as passionate user and fan.

Discovering ZipGrade made a world of difference to the office world especially to


the education fields. In fact, using Zip Grade helps teachers to kept records, and found that
marking each of the over 400 TOEIC Bridge answer sheets, also on average, just 2.3 seconds
will the students' score will be recorded. Becoming somewhat evangelical about Zip Grade,
and it is my pleasure as a learner to share this excellent solution to the tedium of multiple
choice marking and data entry. ZipGrade is available on both iOS and android and is used in
conjunction with a desktop-optimized website (www.ZipGrade.com). You will need both to
try it out. The Zip Grade website has downloadable answer sheets that feature the precise
layout and alignment guides that the camera will search for when scanning. Also, the
teacher may elect to allow students to interact with the ZipGrade website via the 'Student
Portal'. To access the student portal, the student must use credentials provided to them by
the teacher. The teacher receives these credentials, either an 'Access Code' for the student
or a code specific to a quiz, from the ZipGrade website. There is no method for a student to
interact with the ZipGrade service without these credentials. In addition, ZipGrade is the
best grading grading app for teachers because it saves a lot of time, money, and it provides
teachers with well-organized data. Grading apps like ZipGrade store the results of the
assessments, provide breakdowns of the question results, and allow users to organize
classes for pennies on the dollar. ZipGrade is very simple. Like any new digital tool, it takes a
moment to get antiquated with the site. But once you do, it all makes sense. Also when it
comes to printing of answer sheets, this can be printed from the full browser site or they
can be emailed to you through the app. They come in PDF format, so there are few to no
issues viewing or printing from your inbox. In this way it proves that this is much more
advantageous to teachers and educators.

To sum it all, this tech tool saves time on grading your students’ work because the
scanner collects the student data in seconds and gives you a total instantly. ZipGrade is a
collection of applications and website that allows teachers to grade multiple choice papers
completed by their students and to analyze the results. The teacher uses the mobile
ZipGrade App to capture an image of the student’s exam paper. This image is analyzed for
each student response and then compared against the teacher’s answer key. The teacher is
able to quickly see the student’s score on the mobile app. The score and image are stored
on the local mobile device for later review by the teacher.
