SUMMARY: Below is a list of detailed technical requirements for proper copying of audio
material:
1. Copy of audio material* exported to 24 bits/ 48Khz from NLE in AAF or OMF format.
2. Attach EDL from the timeline.
3. Attach copy of the Production Sound material.
4. Send the audio material along with the video copy to:

● In case of editorial or institutional projects of less than 5 minutes, the OMF/AAF
can be embedded with entire audio files.

For MEDIA COMPOSER:
● Audio must be at 48Khz & 24 bits.
● Enable all audio tracks, including camera sound.
● The material can be sent in AAF.
● Broadcast wave/wave (*.WAV) format.
● Export separate Audio, not embedded.
● Entire Audio Files or Trim Audio Files:
○ For documentary projects: When exporting the audio material, audio files
must be trimmed, leave the control frames (handles) at 999 frames or 40
seconds, to have resources for sound editing.
○ For narrative projects: Keep all handles / copy entire audio files.
● In case of editorial or institutional projects of less than 5 minutes, the AAF can be
embedded.
