Answer the following:
▪ How do you feel while you were doing the checklist?

Actually, I feel as though the things that happened to me are

still fresh in my mind, and it makes me sad to think back on
some of the things I've already overcome.

▪ What are your realizations?

I must admit that I was surprised by my score. I had no idea

I was so stressed, but everything seems to be going according to
plan. I've only come to realize how awesome the God I serve is
because He carries all the burdens that I should carry on my
own. I'm just so grateful that God is helping me in managing my
stress and encouraging me to never give up.

Evaluation (20 pts)

1. Reflection Paper
▪ Make a self-compassionate letter and make a reflection about it.

Self-Compassion Letter

It's okay that you're struggling right now, dear self. I am aware
that you are going through a really trying time. What you are feeling right
now is acceptable. You're doing your best with what you have at this
time. You deserve compassion and tenderness in response to your
suffering and discomfort. You deserve that. You deserve the love and
kindness you're giving to yourself. Despite the difficulty, I am confident
that you will find peace. No no matter how difficult it may be, you are
strong enough to face your fears and keep emotional space. As your body
experiences the ups and downs of fear, you should be a safe haven for it.
God is your greatest ally getting through these trying times. Now, my
dear, go gently into this moment.

Reflection

Self-compassion provides care to oneself, especially when one feels

like they have failed, and accepts their problems as normal and valid. It's
deciding to acknowledge our experience and place more emphasis on
validation than on judgment and shame. We can overcome self-criticism
by practicing self-compassion. We can stop and refocus instead of
circling the drain of negative feelings. We may control these feelings and
break free from ingrained, unfavorable ideas about ourselves by calming
ourselves. Positivity, motivation, and less depression are more likely

among those who are able to demonstrate a high level of self-
compassion. Additionally, if we want to transform our lives and
concentrate on healing past wounds, we'll need to practice a lot of self-
compassion.
